Karl Mayer Group took part in the joint fair stand of German Pavillion in the fair held in Mumbai on 03-05 October 2013. Furthermore, it presented the innovations in the textile machinery to its clients in a public event organised in the headquarter found in Obertshausen/Germany on October, a shortly after the first one.
Karl Mayer is at Tech Textil India
Followed by visitors with great interest at Techtextil fair held in Main/Frankfurt in June, Karl Mayer Group introduced its equipments successfully at the fair held in India with a number of participants exceeding the expectations. In the fair program of Karl Mayer at Tech Textil India, information was given to the manufacturers about company's warp knitting machines designed for processing the technical yarns and the innovative yarn equipments.
Karl Mayer presented a wide range of information about shadow nets and mosquito nets as well as semi-technical warp knitting machines and spacer fabrics. Karl Mayer Malimo presented the magazine including information about production oppotunities of tricot and raschel machines as well as weft insertion system and warp machines portfolio. Making explanation about the fair, sales director of Karl Mayer Malimo, Axel Wintermeyer said that: “India has made a good preparation for using modern textile. We hoped to meet with clients and visitors and to sign contracts for some machines. Considering the target-oriented and special presentation made in the fair, we, as Karl Mayer Group, feel that we succeeded.”
Groundworks for ITMA 2015
Karl Mayer, which considered the 4-year time interval between ITMA 2011 held in Barcelona and ITMA 2015 to be held in Milano to be very long, organised an event in order to announce its latest innovations. About 200 visitors participated in the event held in Germany on 25 October. Having been operating in the field of warp knitting and warp preparation machines in the textile sector since 1937, Karl Mayer made technology presentations including its latest models as well as textile shows. The third emphasis of the outstanding program of the event became the presentations including the software solutions providing ease of use for complete patterning.
Deputy Sales Director of Knitting Department, Oliver Mathews, commented about the event as such: “Most of our important clients visited us and the dispayed machines and Karl Mayer's innovative power were persuasive. As a consequence, this event which was open to public participation was perfect.”
Technology show was completed with the display of few but selected products including underwear, sportswear and outerwear products. Visitors could see the jackets and night dresses created by the company. Besides, Karl Mayer managed to get the support of Louisa Smith, the trend expert, by giving lectures on the textile trends of ISPO Textrends Forum Fall/Winter 2015/2016.
