Liba Maschinenfabrik was purchased by Karl Mayer

Karl Mayer Group which bought a majority share of Liba Maschinenfabrik, will perform the integration of the company on 1 January 2014.

Following the agreement, it has been announced that until the completion of the integration with Karl Mayer, Liba Maschinenfabrik Gmbh will continue working without changes. With this agreement, Karl Mayer bought the share of its biggest competitor in the market in warp knitting machines. With the statement made, it was highlighted that Liba Gmbh's current president Karlheinz Liebrandt will remain at his place and will continue to be the spokesman of the company, Marcus Kube's management will take place on behalf of Karl Mayer were reported.

Liba GMBH  manufactures machinery in the fields of woven, nonwoven and knitting, is mainly known for the production of warp knitting machines. Liba GMBH serves with its sales and service offices found in the USA and China outside the Bavaria Region.  Having its production center in Naila Region of Germany, Liba employs 365 people in Germany and 420 people throughout the world. LIBA, also, develops technologies for the production of geotextiles and high performance fibers which have been used in ground works for more than 25 years. For more than 12 years, LIBA has been conducting studies in the fields of automotive and the use of wind force.  Tricot machine, raschel machine, warp weft machines and spinner are among the innovative products of the firm. Basically, LIBA manufactures machinery in the fields of woven, nonwoven and knitting.
