Providing innovative solutions to the textile world for knitted fabric finishing and pretreatment of open-end fabrics, Santex introduced its new product: ESC Energy Saving Unit. Based in Switzerland, Santex ensures efficient use of energy thanks to the air circulation system that it developed.
Having previously developed ENairsave, the heat recovery system, in the field of energy saving, Santex applies hot air directly on the fabric to carry out preheating on the entering wet fabric instead of using hot waste air through external heat transformers in order to apply preheating on the entering clean air with ESC differently from Standard energy saving devices. 15-20 % increase can be reached in efficiency and energy saving depending on waste air temperatures thanks to air circulation within ESC unit.
Santex’s ESC unit is accompanied by an automatic mohair belt cleaning system operating independently on the existing dryer that has optional manual filter. Likewise, not only installed power or heat transformer capacity but also efficiency and energy cost levels per kilogram of fabric should be taken into consideration in the selection of machines. The cost of the machine constitutes only a small part of the machine purchase especially when it is considered that power and fuel costs will increase in the future. Besides, features including high distribution impact of Santashrink require less amount of softener in order to reach the essential feel.
