Zorlu Textile, exporting 40% of its production mainly in the U.S, Europe, Japan and Russia, after Mascioni in Italy and Colorprint Fashion in Spain, is the third company preferring Kappa 320. Kappa 320, in accordance with the agreement made with Zorlu Textile Group CEO Vedat Aydin and CEO of Durst, Christoph Gamber, has been added to the Reggiani printing system at the plant in Çorlu after performing its practice tests.
Kappa 320
Zorlu Textile Group, has added the industrial printing machine Kappa 320,that provides a maximum print width of 30 cm and specifically designed for the needs of home textiles, to its machine park. Other than duvets, bed linens, table linens, lace curtains, blinds as well as interior and decoration products and also capable of making full width digital prints on advertising materials such as flags or banners, Kappa 320 has been equipped with the new QuadroZ V2 printing heads in order to respond to all kinds of textile demand.
Kappa 320, positioned symmetrically in the 8-channel print head, provides a full color application in double-sided printing. Because the color channel is always at the right application position according to the printing direction, Kappa 320 achieves optimization in critical design printings involving precise patterns and color mixtures on all print width color harmony, without reducing the production rate.
Our Co-operation with Zorlu is Challenging
Durst Phototechnik AG CEO, Christoph Gamber explains, “ After a tough start in 2011 in the Turkey textile market, we started to work on many details and while devoting all our energy to Kappa 320 we also enabled the modifications to be made to Kappa 180 V2. We are pleased to be able to convince Europe’s largest home textile manufacturers in using Durstinkjet technologies and enhancing a close collaboration with Zorlu Group in Turkey with their digital textile facilities.”
Durst’s Turkey distributor and CEO of Saatçioğlu Company, Serdar Saatçioğlu explains, “Zorlu, after reviewing many models chose us because of the technology, print quality and speed that the Durst Kappa 320 model provides. In addition to this, there has been an intense interest for the 320 Model in Heimtextil 2014. I’m guessing that until the end of this year, we will be performing 5-6 machine sales in the Turkish market. In principle, we have customers we have agreed with. In the field of home textiles industry, I can say that Durst Kappa 320 is the fastest machine. It can print with two different inks. With an average speed ranging from 225 to 375 meters tulle, Kappa 320 uses Ricoh to prolong to the life of the head.”
