One of the specialist manufacturers of textile finishing machines, Brückner made an investment amounting to € 40 million for lands, buildings and machines in order to construct a new production plant with the aim of meeting the growing customer demands more easily and conducting its activities in a wider area. Launched in September 2016, the new production plant is located near the town of Tittmoning, Bavaria.

Having its production plant in Tittmoning, Bavaria, since 1960s, Brückner plans to move to its new production plant by the end of 2017. In its current plant, Brückner produces about 120 machines and lines, 95 % of which are exported to whole world, with about 180 employees. Also, in its headquarter located in Leonberg near Stuttgart where 200 employees work, the departments of R&D, design engineering, marketing, sales, service, spare parts, material management, IT, human resources and finance management. In 2004, Brückner moved equipment manufacturing departments to the factory in Tittmoning and gained a wide space for the establishment of the technology center. Thus, it continues to carry out its innovative studies in Leonberg headquarter by opening a big technology center where customers can conduct test studies and new textile products are developed.

Energy Efficiency and Environmental Awareness Prominent in the New Plant

With the recent changes in the requirements related to textile machines and functions, production lines of textile machines grew and developed, as well. At this point, Brückner decided to expand its production plant. It will offer an area covering 25 thousand square meters with about 180 employees in its new production plant. Brückner which will be able to produce larger and heavy components and line parts in this new plant attaches great importance to energy saving and environmental awareness in this plant. The new building is planned to have an outer surface with thermal protection and daylight admission. With a photovoltaic system on the roof, extra energy will be saved and the surrounding green space offer ecological diversity.

Sharing his assessments about the new production plant investment, Regina Brückner, Chairman of Governing Board of Brückner, stated that, “In the new building decision, it was important to continue with all of our employees since our personnel and their experience were our most important values. Thus, it was never an alternative for us to move our production further away. In that case, we would lose many valuable employees and we did not want this loss since we are responsible for our employees. We are proud of our “Made in Germany” quality and we trust in this for the future.”
