Expressing that the sales of 2016 met their expectations and they ended their first year successfully, Kılıç added that, “We have met our expectations despite the 15 July Coup Attempt and the abnormal developments seen in the exchange rates following this attempt.”
In many investments in the field of textile, Monforts is preferred as one of the leading machinery manufacturers of the world. Also providing information about the products standing out in the 2016 sales of Monforts, Ahmet Kılıç added that, “Stenters, sanforizing machines, e-control and denim finishing lines have been sold for weaving and knitting in Çorlu, Bursa, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Adana and Turkmenistan. New Representations Are Underway
Neotek Tekstil, which added Bejimac (singeing machine) firm into its portfolio in addition Monforts, continues its works for new representations. Stating that they conducted a highly meticulous work in this respect, Ahmet Kılıç added that, “We have ongoing talks with certain firms in the field of textile finishing in addition to our existing representations. We are picky about new representations and we spend a great deal of time. I hope that we will be able to announce these talks soon.”
Lastly expressing his wishes for the end of regional political crises and terrorist events for increases in textile investments, Kılıç added that, “We expect that the investments in textile will increase again in a peace environment when the war fought at the southern borders of our country and the terror affecting the whole country end. We predict that this will increase the number of firms and visitors participating in KTM 2017. We wish that KTM 2017 will be successful both for participants and visitors.”
