Offering solutions with high added value for finishing machines, stenters, rotation printers and level dryers for the textile companies, Effe Endüstri Otomasyon A.Ş. exceeded the targeted sales figures with the stenter named “Pasha” which was launched in 2016.
İhsan Mokanoğlu, General Manager and Governing Board Member of Effe Makine Endüstri Ticaret A.Ş. who conducts the marketing activities of Effe Endüstri Otomasyon A.Ş., expressed the pleasure they felt due to the interest shown in Pasha model and added that, “The target of Pasha model stenter for the first year was to receive 10 orders. As of July 2017, the number of stenters ordered is 15. In addition to 8 stenters which have already been installed and are operating in the clients’ factories, 7 stenters are currently being manufactured in our modern plant covering 10 thousand square meters in Esenyurt.
The first foreign order from Bangladesh
Stating that they continue pleasing their clients with their reference machines and outstanding features in Çorlu, Bursa, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, İstanbul and Kayseri, which are among the important textile centres of Turkey, İhsan Mokanoğlu stated that they received the first foreign order from Bangladesh.
Stating that they will export the first stenter in October 2017, Mokanoğlu gave the following information about the production capacity: “In the current production plant of Effe, we can manufacture 8 stenters at once. In July 2017, clients visiting our factory have been impressed at most by the fact that we can carry out production in 8 stenter lines at the same time.”
Stating that they moved to the new and modern production plant in Esenyurt, İstanbul, in April 2016, Mokanoğlu added that, “While our production plant covered 5 thousand square meters at the beginning, we added another area covering 5 thousand square meters 7 months later, and with a production plant covering 10 thousand square meters in total and 70 employees, we have today become one of the biggest stenter producers of Turkey and the world. Apart from stenters, stenter and printer equipment, digital printers’ entry and exit units and drying cabinets that it produces under its brand, Effe also conducts contract manufacturing with OEM products for many European machinery manufacturers.” Stating that they will add a new machine into their portfolio in the upcoming period, Mokanoğlu added that they will wait a little more for the launching of this machine.
A Global Stenter
Stating that an important team work and experience are underlying reasons of this success they have achieved in a short time, İhsan Mokanoğlu made the following explanation: “Mr. Celal İri, CEO of Effe Endüstri Otomasyon A.Ş., has been working with a team, which have worked on the design and production of stenters in Turkey since 1999. This team has realized 3 stenter projects under different brands for almost 20 years. They have obtained experiences in the production of high added value equipment with Effe since 2008 and they decided to put these experiences into practice with the last stenter produced. Pasha stenter, a fourth generation machine, is the product of experiences of almost 20 years. This machine, which was designed and manufactured after the expectations and demands of the stenter users both at home and abroad were analysed thoroughly, stands out with the latest technological systems it uses when compared to its domestic and foreign rivals.”
Expressing that the point they emphasized most during the design of the Pasha Stenter was to manufacture a global machine, İhsan Mokanoğlu added that, “We know the world, we know Turkey, we know the technological needs of our clients, and thus, we carefully selected all the equipment used in the machine. We preferred the world-known brands in the main body, entry centering units, pads, engines, reducers, inverters, weft control units, isolation materials, needling units, starching units and edge cutting units. Actually a brand new design was not made, the best systems were preferred. This made the outstanding features of our machines in terms of both energy efficiency and production values apparent in a short time.
Adding that the target of Effe has been to manufacture a higher number of stenters, which work without problems, consume less energy and are environment-friendly, in a higher number of countries since the very beginning, Mokanoğlu said that, “Besides, another important target for us is to revise Effe stenters or different stenters used by our clients with the equipment produced by Effe with the aim of ensuring that they have better needling performances and make production with lower rates of edge waste and lower energy costs.”
Mokanoğlu also added that Effe, which currently actively operates in 14 countries worldwide with agencies, continues its works for becoming active in about 25 countries in a short period of time.
