Developments in Dyeing & Finishing Sectors by Mom Tekstil

Operating as representative in textile sector with worldwide companies such as Tandematic, Automation Partners Inc, Fab-Con, Parex-Mather, Danti Paolo and Erbatech, Mom Tekstil Mümessillik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. offers finishing and dyeing machines that provide time and cost advantages in textile production and contribute to sustainability to the industry.

Stating that the companies which they represent direct the sectors with their developed technologies, Ali Özgur Erbilol, General Manager of Mom Tekstil Mümessillik San ve Tic Ltd Şti, shared the following information about the innovations offered to the textile sector:  For the stenters developed by Tandematic, it became possible to make a needling at a distance of a few millimeters to the edge of the fabric without the formation of a loose edge thanks to the fabric edge needling system. Our clients, especially those who sell fabrics, make now millimeter calculations at the edge and this system provides a significant savings.”

Ali Özgür Erbilol continued his words about innovative technologies offered as follows; “Thanks to the integration of the may/weft frequency measurement systems developed by Automation Partners Inc. into the stenters, the problem of grammage difference between balls has been solved.” In addition to this, with Fab-Con S Series Knitted Sanfor Machine which is able to collect at high speeds from 40 to 45 m / min, both high yields and desired shrinkage values can be achieved. The integration of the fuselage unit, which is provided by Parex-Mather, one of the world's leading singeing / gause machine makers, for knitted fabrics, quenching and cooling the fabric in an oxygen-free environment and subsequent cleaning of the combustion residue on the fabric is gaining the appreciation of its customers. With our MK10 brush machine from Danti Paolo, another representative, we provide nearly double production of competitors thanks to the 6 brush units that can work independently from each other by minimizing brush-free fabric waste. "

Demand for Continuous Systems is Increasing

Stating that they have provided significant advantages to the sector with Erbatech which is one of the leading companies in the field of continuous wet finishing, Erbilol said that the demand for continuous systems has also started to increase. Erbilol shared the following information about this issue; "Erbatech which we represent for wet finishing processes is at the forefront of the world's leading companies in energy and water conservation with the continuous machines (bleaching, pad-batch and washing machines) offered in its portfolio. The method of production with continuous machines which was a standard for many years has become a standard in knitting plants thanks to the continuous machines. The discontinuous machines have begun to have difficulty in meeting the environmental and modern world demands for dyeing and finishing processes of cellulosic fabrics in terms of energy efficiency and water consumption. As a natural consequence, these systems have begun to leave their places in continuous systems. Both the consumption of less water and energy, as well as the ever-increasing fabric surface quality expectation, especially in the European market, encourage our customers to make a continuous investment.”

Stating that this trend started to become widespread in printing plants today, Erbilol said: “It will be seen that continuous systems are indispensable when the calculation is started to be made for every extra volume of water consumed and every kcal consumed. Continuous systems that have become sustainable with decreasing profit margins in the globalizing world will make discontinuous systems less demanding and take their place as main production machines in knitting dyeing plants”.

Adding that nowadays a certain part of the woven fabrics has become very sensitive to tension and that they almost exhibit knitted fabric character, Erbilol stated that: "Erbatech keeps his strong position in the market with his experience in knitted fabric and expertise in low-tension machines.” Erbilol added that the experienced technical team, who installed and commissioned the machines and provided service afterwards, gained the appreciation of the customers.

Stating that 2016 was a difficult year for the entire sector and that the sales realized in 2016 were below expectations, Erbilol said "We were obviously below the expected sales figures in 2016. However, with 2017 season, a more favorable atmosphere has been achieved and we anticipate that we will reach the targeted sales figures by the end of the year.”
