Brückner, of major machinery suppliers of Turkish textile, sold a new line to Dinarsu Halı and contributed to the growth of the company’s production power. Established in 1955 in Istanbul for the production of yarn and blankets, Dinarsu Halı is a recognized manufacturer in global market, with its successful works. It is stated that the new coating line standing out with its length will provide advantages to Dinarsu Halı for competing in the market. In the new coating line purchased, many features exist together. Yielding successful results in terms of production capacity extends to a maximum of 20 million m² per year depending on the type of fabric and the process. Other features offered by this line include; pre-spread and coating for pile integration, secondary-back laminating with flat fabric or nonwovens and foam coating with flat foam or embossed foam.
Brückner announced that, with the special works applied on the line, they focused on productivity and decreasing energy costs. On the machine, successful works including of inverter-controlled circulating air fans adjusting up and down air circulation density, separating plates, fabric transport system (stenter), high capacity nozzles, in-take ducts, nozzle titling device, gas burner, and lint screen have been performed.
Perfect Temperature Distribution with Duo-Therm Dryer
The drying process of the line takes place in 23 drying zones in total. This dryer type proved to be excellent for coating in the field of carpets. The gas heated dryer is operated with a temperature splitting for the thermal treatment of the pile and the coating side. This ensures a high drying capacity with an operation mode which is very gentle for the pile. While the separated air circulation of upper and lower air allows temperature differences of up to 60 °C, a perfect temperature distribution is achieved with the Venturi mixing system for gas heating. In addition, inverter-controlled circulating air fan motors can react fast on different types of fabric. This prevents pile deformations and the central Siemens S7 control system ensures with “prescribing” production in every quality and thus a perfect reproducibility.
The different coatings are applied as foamed latex mixtures by using the newly developed Brückner carpet application unit. In this unit; there are foam supply, side dams with motorized control via edge sensors and motorized traversing paste distribution, as well as a special image system. The chromium plated squeegee is water-cooled to prevent adhesion of the latex while the motorized nip adjustment via spindles is made on both sides and is monitored by angle encoders. There are 2 coating units in the described machine, one for the pre-spread and one for the glue / foam application. The integrated straightener allows straightening fabric distortions and such straightening can be organized according to pattern. Moreover, two camera systems detect either the carpet back or the pile side and distortions are then corrected fully automatically.
