Recently, Monforts and Neotek Tekstil representing the company in Turkey have presented “The most innovative technology user company” Award to Kipaş Holding’s Member of Board Mr.Ahmet Öksüz for the sales of Monforts sanfor line attracting attention for its energy efficient and environmentally-friendly features.
Kipaş Holding brought the latest sanforizing technology to its denim production plant with this investment and had another crucial advantage in production capacity as well as energy efficiency.
Kipaş Holding’s Member of Board Mr.Ahmet Öksüz shared his evaluations regarding the new investment with our editorial board and stated that their denim production is around 6 million square meters now and that they planned to increase it by 8 million meters in 3 months.
Öksüz mentioned that the production of denim and non-denim fabrics is carried out in two separate production plants and shared the following information about the investments; “Denim fabric is manufactured in one of our production sites while the non-denim fabrics such as cotton fabrics and blend fabrics in the other production site. Our last investment was 2 years ago for the non-denim plant. Here we purchased a sanforizing machine by cooperating with Monforts. This machine is not just a sanforizing machine with its new generation features, but it is also features a special system. This enables us to manufacture better quality products and it is a system with a lower energy cost. We have finalized our decision upon detailed technical examination and opted for Monforts. The machine has been on the run for about 1,5 months and it has so far been an investment which covered our expectations.”
Kipaş Continues to Invest to Sustainable Technologies
Ahmet Öksüz noted that Kipaş reinforced the importance given to sustainability with this investment and continued his words; “The production in the world is guided there. Everyone carries out production somehow but the most important is to pollute the environment less and use the energy less. As Kipaş, we think a lot about this issue and new developments are always in this issue. We mostly focus on the fact that how can we pollute the environment less, how can we use less water, how can we reduce our costs and how can we manufacture with less electricity and energy. In that sense, this investment contributed to us as a value in terms of reducing costs and using less energy.”
Öksüz also mentioned that the new sanforizing machine investment has important advantages in diversifying the production and continued, “The new sanforizing machine upgrades the standards. You send a better fabric to a customer as to provide the right non-shrinking of the fabric and keep the fabric within a specific standard is important. This machine is very successful in that sense,” he said.
Öksüz added that their investments in terms of technology and capacity increase continues and noted that they also purchased a stenter and that they plan to have the machine run at the end of May.
The first step is taken by Kipaş for Industry 4.0
Kipaş Holding’s Finishing Manager Mr.Mehmet Yarbasan informed that the new sanforizing machine investment made a great contribution to the company’s sustainability policy and meanwhile, they also took the first step for Industry 4.0. Yarbasan, “Along with this investment our plant’s monitorability is prominent compared to a classic sanforizing machine. We work with a system close to Industry 4.0. Our customers can monitor the production at every stage. We are capable to perform procedures that we could not do with normal classic sanforizing machines to process changing raw materials in terms of working with different fibers. Each part is a special mechanism,” he commented.
Monforts’ Turkey Agency Neotek Tekstil’s experience Manager Mr.Ahmet Kılıç stated that they were glad to work with Kipaş Holding in such an important investment and gave the following information; Today we have presented “The most innovative technology user company” Award to Kipaş Holding’s Member of Board Mr.Ahmet Öksüz for the activation of Monforts sanforizing line. Kipaş took a step for Industry 4.0 with this investment. And we have approved the company as “Monforts” with this award. We are glad to have our machine at a very important company like Kipaş as Kipaş conducts sales all over the world. It especially has a production plant for denim with the latest technology. We believe that having our machine in such a plant will have a great contribution to both Monforts and us as their Turkish agency.”
The sale was finalized in a short period of 2-3 months as Ahmet Kılıç said, “We have submitted our offer after having learnt the need of the company and Kipaş’ responsibles discussed the issue deeply. We have transferred them the latest technological developments according to their needs. We have mentioned about the benefits that they would make use of through the features of the machine that have never used before. Ahmet Öksüz is a very wise person and voted for the machines as he thought that the machine’s features will contribute a lot to the company’s future. Then we have quickly finalized the process. There is even no need to talk about the payments as Kipaş is a company equal to Central Bank,” he explained.
Besides increasing capacity with the new sanforizing machine started to be used at the denim plant, Kipaş Holding plans to reimburse the investment costs in 3 to 5 years’ time.
