One of the investments that were realized under the production of nonwovens in Western Europe was carried out by the Scottish company Don & Low. For its new facility, the company invested in Oerlikon Neumag equipment’s, known as Europe’s leading meltblown nonwoven manufacturer. For the Scottish company, Oerlikon Neumag will establish a system with respect to the production of nonwovens, which are obtained from polyolefin and other raw materials. The start of production is scheduled as being the first half of 2017.
Through this investment, establishing its second nonwovens plant within only a few months, Oerlikon Neumag takes place among the leading manufacturers of meltblown nonwovens in Europe.
