Uster is at ITMA Asia + CITME 2014

Uster Technologies, the global brand of quality control processes from fiber to fabric, will exhibit its latest innovations at ITMA Asia+CITME 2014. Introducing the new models and latest technologies to the visitors at the fair, Uster targets to provide solutions for the problems experienced by the textile manufacturers in relation to measurement and certification.

USTER® QUANTUM 3

Uster will display the developments related to USTER® QUANTUM 3 at ITMA Asia + CITME 2014. Conducting tests on the removal of contaminating agents seen in the first phases of cotton cleaning and yarn production, USTER® QUANTUM 3 uses multiple light sources together with the new capacitative sensor in order to dissolve the colourful foreign fibers out of herbal substances which are not disturbing. When USTER® QUANTUM 3, which is capable of performing constant process imaging and extended quality measurement, is combined, constant yarn quality is guaranteed through the use of yarn cleaner. This feature allows for testing the whole yarn for consistency with the qualit parameters and removing the undesired defects and contaminants. In this manner, the yarn spinners guarantees the quality desired by the clients.

USTER® AFIS PRO 2

In the fair where the latest developments concerning USTER® AFIS PRO 2 will be introduced to the visitors, how the nep will be kept under control will also be explained. With USTER® AFIS PRO 2, correct information is provided about the total nep number and size, number and size of fiber neps, number and size of seed shells and maturity level. In this way, the yarn manufacturers select the appropriate raw materials and process the selected raw materials properly owing to USTER® AFIS PRO 2 and this contributes to the maturity of the fiber. The data that USTER® AFIS PRO 2 obtains from the tests performed at all parts of the machine allow for constant monitoring and access to correct information in relation to fiber nep levels, fiber maturity, unmature fiber levels and short fiber content.

USTER® TOTAL CONTAMINATION CONTROL

Geoffrey Scott, the CEO of Uster Technologies which realized a significant revolution in terms of contamination measurement with the concept of TOTAL CONTAMINATION CONTROL, anotherproduct to be exhibited in the fair expressed the following about the concept: “Removing the disturbing foreign agents from Cotton has become one of the most important problems experienced by the yarn factories aiming at making production of high quality for years. We will overcome this problem with USTER® TOTAL CONTAMINATION CONTROL produced with the outstanding technology of Uster.”
