Saurer Schlafhorst will display its innovations in the fields of ring and compact spinning, automatic package winding and semi and fully automated rotor spinning at ITMA Asia + CITME 2014 to be held on 16 – 20 June in Shanghai. While directing the sector with smart automation solutions and opening up new perspectives at the same time, Schlafhorst will exhibit Autocoro 8, the new semi-automated rotor yarn spinning machine BD 6, CoWeMat, ZinserRing 72 and ZinserImpact 72, Autoconer X5, Autoconer X5, FlowShare FX as well as the automation systems that will innovate the textile sector greatly at ITMA Asia + CITME 2014.
Autocoro 8, the company’s flagship, is also included among the machines to be displayed by Saurer Schlafhorst which attributes a great importance to ITMA Asia + CITME 2014. Paying a special importance to Autocoro 8, the firm will exhibit its latest developments in the fair with special shows.
Faster Production with Autocoro 8
Autocoro 8, which will be introduced to the visitors with its renewed technology, can reach to 160.000 rpm. Being able to maje 15 % faster production with its 552 needles, Autocoro 8 is stil 13 % more compact than the belt-driven machines manufactured by the rival companies with its single-drive technology. Allowing for a seamless lot change on single-lot machines, Autocoro 8 also allows for a reliable separation of batches if needed without the need for stopping all the needles beforehand during the replacement of can or component.
More Production with BD
The semi-automated BD 6 included in the products to be displayed by Schlafhorst in the fair can manufacture bobbins with Autocoro character even with its Standard equipment. DigiPiecing, the patented digital piecing technology and Autocoro’s highly precise bobbin winding technology provide even more opportunities and BD 6 can reach a take-up speed of 230 m/min. with its 480 spindles. Therefore, the production process gains speed owing to the new features of BD 6 which is 40 % faster and more productive than its predecessor.
Lower Costs with CoWeMat
Owing to CoWeMat to be displayed in the fair, up to 61 % saving is possible in personnel costs depending on the yarn count and bobbin format. In CoWeMat providing a fully-automated link to the winding machine, yarn spinning and bobbin winding capacities can be suitably coordinated and the production yield can be maximized with the most appropriate load distribution.
Full Automation with Autoconer X5
It is thought that another striking item of the stand of Schlafhorst will be FlowShare FX, the automation star of Autoconer X5. Saurer Schlafhorst developed the logistics and process safety of Autoconer, the material flow technology, and manufactured a system that can balance the fluctuations fully independently and reliably. Owing to Vario Reserve, one of the most outstanding features of the system, the number of the reserve bobbins is determined according to the needs while High-Speed-Feeding offers the appropriate feeding with different band speeds and exchanges bobbins between the winding positions entirely autonomously.
