Headquartered in Italy, Savio will present its new innovations on ITMA Asia in June, after the ITM İstanbul fair in April. Savio gives great importance to China, one of the biggest textile producers in the global market , so it follows the developments within the area in close. At the fair which will be held between 12-16 June, the company announced to take place saloon W2, booth F01 and wants to return from Asia, where the company provides 90 percent of its turnover, with much more successful results. While fulfilling its own production at the product mills located in China’ s Shandong and Jining states, it is also presenting customer-specific solutions.
Savio, having a strong market in Asia, will continue to introduce its technologies in ITMA Asia, too. The company will present automatic winding model Orion Super M, Polar /I DLS connection type, and new Sirius double-twisted winding machines on both winding and twisting sections at the ITMA Asia. The company will generally focus on products requiring high performance, energy saving and less labour in order to compensate for Asian market needs.
Polar/ I Direct Link System Increases Winding Efficiency
Polar/ I Direct Link System Winding Solution, which links ring spinning mill to winding machines, strikes the eye as the most distinguished product of Savio. Growing markets now prefer to invest in such automatic types of solutions. In this context, while renting the operators is becoming harder, final product quality is desired to be higher and this kind of product presents various advantages.
When it started designing this system, it determined some main targets for the design of ring machine frame at the same time. In this case, potential customer profile has been shaped and the company needed to offer new options. Polar I DLS 2000 was actually designed in a modular type that will compensate the needs of up-to-2000-spindle machine manufacturers and that will bear the possibility of high number of winding heads. This modular solution has resulted in Polar/ I DLS, having similar equipment with N° 3 end finder stations, to be prepared for ring frames bobbins’ winding heads and later operations.
Considering all these, the company gave importance to the subjects such as: increase of yarn piecings and bad bobbin shapes due to the energy blackout, end lot phase which requires the circulation of all bobbins until packages are full and technological defects detected by the clearers. In conclusion, to minimize the consequent lower efficiency, Polar/I DLS was equipped with a smart backup preparation station and spindle identification system so that lower efficiency couyld be minimized. In this way, winding efficiency increased and technological yarn defects has automatically been removed.
Orion Super M Ensures Centralized Control
The automatic winding machine was designed especially to answer the needs of the Far Eastern market, such as high yarn quality, high production output, low energy comnsumption, maintenance and investment costs. The machine, with manual bobbins feeding and manual or automatic packages doffing, has the feature to completely control all the parameters of the winding process by the main PC. In addition, the machine
has the self-diagnosis monitoring per each winding head. High productivity, together with yarn and package quality level, can be obtained thanks to the flexible and intelligent cycle. Additionally, dynamic drum accelerator can be controlled and personalized.
Sirius Minimizes Operator Interference
The new generation of Two-for-One twisters, SIRIUS, debuted as world preview at the ITMA ASIA 2010 fair. This twister offers solutions to Far East market needs and offers solutions for needs of labor and energy. This new model foresees a high structural standardization, a wide range both for feeding and spindle dimensions for every yarn type and count, electronic solutions to simplify the operator intervention and reduce the maintenance workforce.
The Electronic Drive System (EDS) version differs from the mechanical version for the full flexibility of setting adjustments. The Sirius EDS model is equipped with independent inverters and motors, which allow to set all processing parameters by the machine PC. This innovation derives from the electronic know-how that Savio has experienced on other sophisticated products. The simple touch screen PC allows to change settings continuously, the operator can obtain every possible combination of parameters in order to reach the best output working condition.
Turkish Market Continues its Growth
Paolo Puntoni, Marketing Director of Savio Macchine Tessili S.p.A which has a past of over than 100 years, made important statements to our magazine about the their technologies and market expectations at the ITM fair in April 2012, İstanbul. Stating that the technologies they produce are constantly improved for power efficiency and higher capacity, Puntoni reminded that they give the most suitable reply to this type of market needs. Puntoni added: “today everybody is talking about energy consumption. We have a new technology in this case, so we optimize low energy consumption and high production. We presented these innovations in bobbin winders to Turkish market. Especially, we choose the places where the machines can be activated well“. Puntoni said that double twister machines’ technology can not be found in anywhere else and it is a technology standardized as double edged.
Informing Turkey to be the only market that makes purchases apart from the Far East markets, Paulo Puntoni announced that China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia purchases 80 percent of the Far East market’ s whole machine production. He implied: “Turkey purchases the remaining 20 percent”. Puntoni, telling Polar model bobbin winding machines are the most selling machines in Turkish market, emphasized that the new model winding machines have a constantly rising sales graphic. Puntoni said that they supply products mostly to the yarn Manufacturers in Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep, by adding they took very positive feedbacks from the Turkish textile producers after the ITMA Barcelona Fair held in September, 2011.
Puntoni expressed that he has been continuing his industrial efforts in Turkey for long years, by reminding his being a member of Savio sine 1984. He went on: “Motex Modiano, which was established by Mr. Modiano was our Turkey representative then, too. We have lots of machines in this market and we continue selling with them.”
Regional Sales Manager in Savio, Gabriele Tonin made statements to our magazine about the global markets, too. He conveyed that his works are directed at Turkey and Turkmenistan markets, as well as North, South and Central America market; he implied that Turkish textile producers always tend to have machines in the best quality. Tonin informed: “If a manufacturer like Savio do not heighten its technologies all the time as the others do, this means that it is not manufacturing a new product. So, it always remains out of Turkish market. We can say that Turkey is one of the biggest textile producers in the world. I can defense with my own experience that; as machine manufacturers, we always have to give the best machine with the best service and the best performance. Thanks to the government’ s incentives, investments on yarns are increasing, so we are applying our big plan for the bobbin winder machines. Normally we expected for the market that in 2011 to fall in 2012, but market ig rising this year, too. So, we have really good expectations about the market fort he next year.
