Savio, yarn machinery manufacturer, is preparing to exhibit their products at INDIA ITME Exhibition. In the organization to be held 2nd – 7th December 2012, Savio will host the customers at Hall 1 Stand G24. The organization, the most significant textile machinery show in India, is 9th in the series. The event, hosted by Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, is of paramount importance for Savio achieving the 90% of its turnover in Asia. According to a statement made by authorities of Italy-based company, India is ranked as the second biggest textile machinery market in the world after China, and a great deal of importance is attached to this country.
In the India Market since 1991, Savio Macchine Tessili has a distributor coordinating the activities in the region. Savio India also has a manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu. Established with the aim of providing the world class SAVIO products, the center has produced for domestic and export market.
Active Network in the Region
The corporate office located at Coimbatore serves with a strength of about 200 people. In addition, sales and service offices at Ludhiana and Kolhapur serve the whole territory of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. With the offices in the region, the company offers its customers the advantage to check, make trials and attend training courses.
With 80 experienced service engineers, Savio India aims to minimize the problems of the customers. Providing high quality service, the company offers service opportunity in the after-sales period. Providing the opportunity to test with the electronic laboratory in the center, the company enables the customers to see the yarn quality, yarn strength and other physical parameters. In the area, a large spare parts store with both bonded and non-bonded warehousing facility is available. Savio, with significant capital investment in the region, prepares for INDIA ITME exhibition with the same diligence. Automatic winder model POLAR/I DLS and the SIRIUS Two-for-One twister in the winding and twisting segment are among the products the company will display at the exhibition. Savio introduces high-performance and energy saving products.
POLAR/I Direct Link System Removes Yarn Defects
Linking the ring spinning frames to winders, POLAR/ I Direct Link System winding solution stands out as Savio’s most high-end product. Developing markets prefer to invest on this kind of high-automatic systems. In this regard, while the difficulty of hiring operators grows, the end product quality is expected to be higher and such a product offers several advantages.
When Savio started with the design of this new system, the company set some other main targets for ring frame design. In this case, the necessity to provide new options considering their present and future potential requests. In fact Polar I DLS has been designed in a “modular type” granting the possibility of reaching the highest number of winding heads to match the trend of the spinning frame manufacturers with longer and longer machines up to 2.000 spindles. This modular solution, upon request, enabled the Polar/I DLS, equipped similar to N° 3 end finder stations, to get ready for the winding heads of ring frames bobbins and the subsequent process.
Evaluating all of these, the company placed emphasis on issues such as the effect on increase of yarn piecings and bad bobbin shapes due to the energy blackout, the end lot phase which requires the circulation of all bobbins until packages are full, the technological defects detected by the clearers. As a result, in order to reduce the efficiency, Polar/I DLS is equipped with smart backup preparation station and spindle identification system to meet the demands. Thus, the winding efficiency increased and the technological yarn defects are automatically removed.
SIRIUS Reducing the Maintenance Cost and Time
A new Generation Two-for-One twister, Sirius was first introduced at ITMA ASIA 2010 exhibition. Providing a significant reduction in labor and energy, this machine offers solutions to the needs of the Far East market. In addition to the demand for low investment costs and lower energy, the customers also expect a decrease in time and cost of maintenance. This new model requires a high structural standardization, a wide range both for feeding and spindle dimensions for every yarn type and count, electronic solutions to simplify the operator intervention and less maintenance workforce.
The Electronic Drive System (EDS) version differs from the mechanical version for the full flexibility of setting adjustments. Equipped with independent inverters and motors, Sirius EDS model allows all processing parameters to be set by the machine PC. The starting point of the innovations is defined to be the electronic know how that Savio has experienced on other sophisticated products. While the PC with a simple touch screen allows changing settings continuously; the operator can use different possible parameter combinations to reach the best output and working condition.
