Oerlikon Natural Fibre and Components businesses were transferred to Chinese Jinsheng Group as of the date of 3 July. According to agreement that was announced before, Saurer Group broke up. It was clarified that Saurer Group would continue after the sale of OC Oerlikon’s Natural Fibre and Components businesses to the Chinese Jinsheng Group. New Saurer Group will have sale of 1 billion Swiss Franc and 3.800 employees. It is announced that New Saurer Group will take over all production units in Europe, USA and Asia with its 160-year old history. This continuity will focus on few subjects such as customer, innovation and employee development has determined Europe and Asia regions as basic market. Saurer will provide service with a structure that includes businesses such as Schlafhorst, Zinser, Allma, Volkmann, Jinsheng and Saurer Embroidery, Accotex, Daytex, Fibrevision, Heberlein, Temco and Texparts.
4 European and 3Asian will take part in new administration of Saurer Group. Heinrich Fischer who was CEO of the Saurer Group since 2007 became president and other names were listed as follows; Hans-Georg Harter (CEO of the ZF since 2012), Rudolf Huber (CEO of the Geberit since2005, member of the board, Georg Fischer, president of Looser), Guido Spix (CTO Multivac), Pan Xueping (main investor and founder of Jinsheng Group), Jesse Guan (president of CNC machines that take part in Jinsheng Group). It is announced that operations will be managed by Oerlikon Natural Fibre and Components Group. Also it is announced that Daniel Lippuner who was former CEO of components became new CEO of Saurer Group. Lippuner was director in different position for 8 years in Hilti before its six-year experience.
Pan Xueping, founder of Jinsheng Group said that Saurer brand will have successful works in China market with its factories. Xueping who emphasized that he will be strategic investor in market by using Saurer experience stated that R&D works will be increased in Germany and Switzerland. Xueping said that new Saurer will be managed from two locations operationally from the headquarters in Wattwil, Switzerland and financially from the second headquarters in Shanghai, China. Xueping who said that they aim to open a new successful page in history of Saurer stated that they will continue their leading position in the fields of textile producers by increasing their power and will constitute a long- termed strategy on the subject of presenting developed products.
