Rieter Re-determines the Standards

Continuing to operate in order to achieve the highest flexible efficiency and economic production process with the aim of reaching the desired level in yarn quality, Rieter re-determines the standards with the full automatic open end machine R 60, new yarn spinning box and low energy consumption. Since its introduction to the market, more than 350 pieces of R 60 have been sold in 19 countries. The new concept with 540 spinning positions stands out with the option of independently operating machine sides. Thanks to the innovative spinning technology of Rieter, R 60 allows for producing softer, more uniform and better yarns.

Considering that high yarn quality is the basic element in the success of a enterprise, Rieter’s newly developed S 60 spinning box incorporates new features in addition to having all the advantages of SC-R. R 60 has a structure combining TWISTirit, TWISTstop and rotor cover in a single structure. Service costs are also economised thanks to easy change of the structure. Besides, fibre clusters are prevented and distortions seen in the spinning vacuum are avoided thanks to the newly developed structure.

In R 60 where the heat transfer is minimised thanks to the technology offering cooler surfaces, higher efficiency rates are seen in the production of fibres and mixtures. Furthermore, the spinning box ensures higher yarn resistance and better smoothness values.

In a comparison with the recent models of the rival firms, the innovative spinning technology of R 60 stands out with an increase of 0,75 cN/tex and 20 % higher “IPI” values. The desired yarn resistance can be obtained with lower twisting values at a stable rotor speed. Additionally, it ensures 9 % energy saving per one kilogram of yarn.

Since the highest amount of energy is consumed in the open end yarn machines with the propulsion of rotor, suction and unrolling cylinders, the modern structure of R 60 optimizes energy consumption. Among the open end yarn machines where the highest energy consumption takes place in the propulsion of rotor, suction and unrolling cylinders, R 60 achieves 10 % less energy consumption in comparison to other brands.

ECOrize

A significant part of the yarn production costs results from energy consumption. In order to minimise these costs, Rieter developed ECOrize for ring yarn spinning machines. Therefore, ECOrize reduces costs with the efficient use of energy and helps environmental protection. With ECOrize that can be used in G 32, G 33, G 35 and G36 yarn machines, energy saving is ensured in the suction power by 50 %.

With a lottery organised by Rieter, five firms out of the clients requesting an offer for modernising the Rieter ring spinning lines in May and June 2013 caught the opportunity of equipping a complete ring yarn machine with ECOrize.  In the lottery made in Winterthur, Tipoiti SA from the Argentina, Mulia Spindo Mills from Indonesia, Eveready Spg Mills Pvt Ltd. from India, Uztex from Uzbekistan and Almer Tekstil from Turkey won.

Rieter is at ITMA Asia - CITME 2014

Rieter will present its most recent innovations to the visitors at ITMA Asia – CITME 2014 to be held on 16 – 20 June. Rieter will display a model of the 1.5 m wide C 70 card with the biggest active carding area, SB-D 22 double-head draw frame ensuring a delivery speed up to 1 100 m/min and maximum productivity up to 1 000 mm, G 32 Ring Yarn Machine, ECOrized Suction Tube, R 60 Open End Yarn Machine. Besides, a new generation of the J 20 air-jet spinning machine (operational) with new concepts of spin unit automation, winding and machine prolongation to 200 units will be exhibited  by the experts of Rieter along with the latest retrofits and high quality spare parts.

C 70 Card

The high-performance C 70 card yields the excellent quality values at the maximum production capacity. The card is based on the well-proven 1.5 m working width and maximum active carding area and focuses on the economic production of carded and combed ring yarns. C 70 ensures precise flats guiding and innovation in the pre- and post-carding area, selective waste extraction, excellent raw material exploitation and sliver quality. With the integrated grinding system IGS, the sliver quality is maintained at the highest level.  Use of the draw frame modules instead of the classical can coilers allows an ideal structuring of the spinning process.

SB-D 22 Double Head Draw Frame

SB-D 22 Double-Head Draw Frame without autolevelling guarantees maximum machine efficiency with a can changer up to 1 000 mm. Rieter based the design of the machine on the principles of labour- and space-saving and guarantees a delivery speed up to 1.100 m/min and yarn quality.  Unique centralized drafting system setting and easy modification of the delivery speed on the display panel are the other outstanding features of SB-D 22.

G 32 Ring Yarn Machine

G 32 ring yarn machine manufactured by Rieter has been optimized for cost-effective yarn production for standard applications.

J 20 Air Jet Yarn Machine

The design of the fully-automated, double-sided air-jet spinning machine ensures high productivity while 200 spinning units and delivery speed up to 450 m/min allow for economic production. Besides, J 20 Air Jet Yarn Machine helps adjusting the softness and hairiness values of Com4 ® jet yarns.
