Timsan also producing hooks besides vacuum cleaner pistols offers useful spare parts. The pistols, which can be used without any power while the machine is in operation, are also exported overseas. Among the export markets of the company established in 1983 are countries such as Germany, Italy, Uzbekistan, Iran, Syria, Romania and Vietnam. We have visited the production facility of the company providing service in the field of spare parts and side industries. The company’s General Manager, Zennun Koç informed us about their activities.
A Beneficial Solution for Manufacturers
Zennun Koç indicated that he is in the business since 1957 and added that he tries to be useful for the textile industry with its experience. Koç reminding that they had first started production in 1983, “We aim to increase the capacity of manufacturers by producing vacuum fiber cleaner pistols being our main production for 30 years” he said. Koç stating that they are producing completely their own design with Tekscleaner trademark continued as follows: “ The quality of our products and their service life depend on how good are their cleaning and maintenance. Although the textile machineries are equipped with a special blowing and vacuum system, the accumulation of the fiber cannot be prevented in some places. The fibers accumulating in time start to force the operation of the machine. These cause the holes to be jammed and consequently affect the quality. As stopping the machine so as to perform cleaning is a crucial time loss, the vacuum fiber cleaning pistols operating while the machine is in operation offer an important solution to manufacturers.”
Koç informing that he also designed the grang shaft and stainless steel valve in the 1965’s, “We continue to be beneficial for the textile industry with our production,” he said. Koç underlining that they have always focused to offer innovations and solutions to the industry since the first day ever reminded that the fiber cleaning pistol is used in the cleaning of floater, bobbin, gamete , knitting, preparation, ring and tricot machineries.

Koç indicated that the company is also producing sliding hook, yellow hook and sheltered hook in addition to the vacuum fiber cleaning pistols and added that they are performing important sales in these fields. Especially the fiber cleaning pistol has examples in the world as models operating with air and electricity and said that: “ We produce the most useful pistol. The pistol has a totally mechanic structure and can be used without any power or energy supply.”
No equivalent in Turkey,
Lower Price compared to Europe
Koç pointing out that they work with most of the textile companies in Turkey continued his statements as follows: “There are pistol working with the same basic structure but besides being more expensive they also have to operate with an additional power source. These machines resembling in terms of operation system are around 110 Euros in Europe. However we supply it to 33 TRY to our customers. We want to prevent imports as the sole producer in this field. We export 30% of our production. There is no limit for our production capacity. We produce as per the orders placed. We also have the design certificate of the product. We already applied for the patent and wait for the approval.”
