Leading nonwoven and technical textile suppliers of the global market met in China.

Participants of Cinte are Satisfied with the Fair

Cinte Techtextil Shanghai, a nonwoven and technical textiles organisation held in China, completed its edition with 436 suppliers. Pavilions from Asian and European countries increased the participation. Following the event which was held in Shanghai Exhibition Center in its place, we, as Textile World Magazine, managed to follow the success of the fair closely. By establishing communication with many firms participating in the event, we could also get informed about the future innovations and firm expectations. The fair which was organised on the 22-24th October 2011 increased its participants by 37,5 in comparison to 2010. In particular, Cinte Techtextil followed closely by the European firms, is of great importance as it approaches the brands to the Asian market.

The fair which doubled its exhibition area in comparison to 2010 was exhibited on an area of 25000 square meters. Among the firms exhibiting their technological products in the fair, there were Andirtz Kuesters (Germany), Verdol (France), Textest AG (Switzerland), Truetzschler Nonwovens (Germany) and Shanghai Yin Science and Technology (China). Among the fabric (knitted and woven), laid webs and cord manufacturers, Concordia Tewtiles from Belgium, Intertape Polymer Group from Canada and Shanghaitex Holding from China were the prominent ones.

In the nonwoven segment, Avgol Nonwovens from Israel andn U.S.Pasific Nonwovens&Technical Textile Technology were seen. In the field of coated textiles, Beijing Textile Holding from China, Sioen Coated Fabrics from Belgium and Trelleborg from Italy stood out. Under the title of composite fabrics, Foshan Nanhai Wonderful from China and Prochimir from France shone out. Binding technologies and chemistry suppliers of the fair included H.B.Fuller from the U.S.A., Bozzetto from Italy and Synthomer Chemicals from Germany. Invista (the U.S.A.), Kordsa Global (Turkey) and Lenzing (Austria) became the outstanding participants in the field of fiber and yarn. In addition to these global and important brands, Belgium, Germany, India, Italy and Taiwan hosted their visitors in their country pavilions.

Special Presentations Informed the Participants

As we said, there is an increasing demand to the fair from the European zone and presentations of these country pavilions grabbed a considerable amount of attention. The symposium held within the fair contained such issues as latest market news and sector trends. The main issue was the technical textile business segment which displayed a rapid growth in China. In addition, special studies were also presented on Automotive, Construction and Geotechnique, Filtration and Separation, Medical Devices, Safety and Protection and High Resistant Fabrics. The main topics addressed in the presentations included: Tamater 3D fabrics, industrial polyester yarn and high performance polyester fiber applications in terms of protection, flexible coated fabrics, binding and coating technologies in organic silicon and spun-bond fiber machines, disposible medical textiles, developments şn the nonwoven and industrial textile market, Geotech, needle punching and new technologies in woven industry, filtration, new Nylon 66 rubber cording fabric applications, microporous filtered finishing technologies and environment friendly filtration materials.

While this fair was held jointly by Cinte Techtextil China Messe Frankfurt, China Textile Industry Sub-Conseil (CCPIT) and China Nonwoven and Industrial Textile Products Association (CNITA), the International Knit Fair organised concurrently with the fair also carried out a successful edition.
