Oerlikon Barmag which develop energy saving systems as well as the yarn quality and efficiency for ındustrial yarn systems, the case opened in China for the breach of trademark was ended up. According to the resolution given by Fujian People’s High Court, after the case which was ended with the ceasing the patent breach and removing of the machines from service to the detriment of a yarn manufacturer from Fujian/ Quanzhou, Peter Lau who is the Intellectual Property Consulter of Oerlikon Manmade Fibers stated that they were ultrasensitive on the breach of the trademark.
“We won’t show any tolerance”
Lau who focused that he came to these days thanks to the innovative technologies for yarn machines signed by Oerlikon which has a powerful point at global market, also said “China is an important marketplace for us. Therefore, we won’t Show any tolerance for any breach neither in China nor in any other countries in the world related to our intellectual property rights”
Chinese Companies sue as well
According to the Handleblatt newspaper published in Germany, every year tens of thousands intellectual property rights cases are opened in China. Although most of the cases are sued by German companies, the complainers are not just foreign firms. Chinese companies also sue for protecting of intellectual property rights against the copiers. Even Chinese government is in the process of opening new special courts which will be interested in these subject.
