Matesa Tekstil San. Tic. A.Ş, which is included in the list of 500 biggest industrial enterprises of Turkey every year and is one of the leading textile plants of the world, received the licence of Com4®ring and Com4®rotor from Rieter. Entering into the textile sector with yarn and knitted fabric production in 1989, Matesa makes high quality production with its yarn, knitting, knit dyehouse, weaving, weaving dyehouse and denim factories. Having realised its investments in a rapid manner since 2000, Matesa now exists in all fields of textile and exports 50 % of its production. Preferring Rieter for the production of modern ring and open end denim yarn, Matesa manufactures 15 tons of ring, 17 tons of open end yarns and 9 Ne yarn in weaving.
In the delivery of the license, Patricj Flamm from Rieter stated that the license that they gave to Matesa contributes to the firms greatly in the field of marketing and Rieter-licensed yarns support the supply sources actively. Expressing that the firms deciding on the yarn license have the opportunity of using the technical expertise and marketing support provided by the experts of Rieter, Flamm added that Rieter has always made use of the experience and knowledge it gained from the textile machinery and maintenance engineering generations and combined them with technological and process know-how.
Continuity and Reliability in Quality
On the occasion of the fact that Matesa received Com4®ring ve Com4®rotor license, Buket Çelebi, the Operating Manager of Matesa Denim, answered the questions of our Magazine Group. Stating that Matesa makes its claim in relation to high quality in the ring, compact yarn, open end yarn and airjet yarns, Çelebi added that: “Rieter announced this situation to the world under the name of Com4®. Rieter also reports to its clients that they will achieve this quality if they make production with its machines. Thanks to this launching, the clients of Rieter directly promote their yarns as well. Besides, especially for Com4®rotor yarns, the obligation of using Rieter spinning materials in Rieter OE machines is accompanied by continuity and reliability in quality.”
Expressing that the reason why we chose Rieter for dyehouse investments is that their organisational structure is in favour of the clients, Çelebi stated that when you make trade with Rieter, you find sales, spare parts and technical service as a whole. Stating that they buy from the local machinery manufacturers only if they have made production in a level satisfying the needs of Matesa and set the service spare parts network, Çelebi added that, while making investment for dyehouse, they choose the machines after the types of yarns to be manufactured in the plant planned to be established, places to use these yarns and the raw materials to be used are decided.
Saying that they manufacture 80/100 tons/day of yarns depending on Yarn Ne, Çelebi stated that they plan to transform the existing conventional ring machines into compact system and establish a new compact system within this year.
Com4® Ring and Com4® Rotor Yarns
Com4®ring yarn manufactured with Rieter’s machines stands out with its standard features out of various short staple yarns. This type of yarn which prolongs several times in comparison to the original one can be employed in different applications with its superior resistance rate. Among the typical applications of Com4® ring in which a wide range of spinning is possible with raw materials and blends in this application where yarn twist is made through the rotation of a small metal ring traveller over the ring, elastic and non-elastic yarns, fancy yarns and hard twisted yarns are included. Thus, it is one of the most preferred applications in the field of weaving where resistance is very important.
Com4® rotor yarns manufactured in Rieter’s open end yarn machines stand out with considerably high smoothness and low resistance variations and provide great advantages such as continuous high resistance, low hairiness and high abrasion resistance. End products of Com4® rotor can be used in denim, workwear, home textiles and technical textiles owing to their low piling trends and high humidity features.
