Güney Tekstil, located in Gaziantep, started its sectoral journey in 1996 by supplying the domestic market with various textile products particularly carpet and yarn types. The company that has been operating on a closed area of 12,000 sqm since 2007, has 300 tons of chenille production capacity.
Since it focused on the impors and exports in the following years, the company that acquired a broad customer portfolio within a very short time, continued its operations under the name of Güney Dış Ticaret A.Ş. The company that has commercial relations on a broad geographical area including Bangladesh, India, Romania, Ukraine and the Central Asian Turkish Republics, continues to import and export the jute, carpet, yarn and textile products.
The company that gives importance to the production quality, supports its products with quality certificates. Chenille as polyester, acrylic, viscose, cotton and Buklet, Brumer, Crossfade, Regatta as acrylic nylon blends are included in the yarn types produced by the company, which has EKOTEKS and ISO 9001 quality certificates. The yarns are dyed in all colors between NM 1- NM 8 as hanks in 250 kg at least.
The company that employs 200 people, aims to minimize the number of errors with its technological structure. Güney Tekstil, which uses chenille machines in order to prevent the human errors, controls the yarns being produced with fully automated optical eyes to avoid the possible errors. Besides, the manufactured and controlled yarns are processed in the electronic vacuum fixing machines to fix the twist. Güney Tekstil, which also gives importance to the dyehouse and laboratory activities, ensures quality by observing the production closely with electronical devices from the beginning to the end.
