Powerful manufacturer of yarn technologies, Rieter presented K45 compact yarn machine to the Textile Engineering Department of Ege University. This present which aims at supporting the practical education of students was also appreciated by the university administration. In the delivery ceremony, vice rectors, professionals, authorities of Rieter and clients also took part.
It is reported that this K 45 compact yarn machine is one of the most acclaimed machines of the firm. Rieters targets that students enter into the sector after graduation with high practical education owing to this machine exhibited by the firm in 2011 ITMA Barcelona and 2012 ITM Istanbul fairs. This specially-produced short machine can produce all Com4®compact yarn types including Com4®compact-vario (fantasy yarn), Com4®compact-core (cored yarn), Com4®compact-twin (yarn with shantung) ve Com4®compact-light (hairiness-adjusted). The features of this machine will enable the students of Textile Engineering Department of Ege University to be equipped with all the necessary information about all the practices available in the market via a single machine.
K 45 compact yarn machine was produced on the basis of G 35 ring yarn machine and its previous model K 44 yarn machine. Designed with many additional optimization features and innovations, the machine provides significant advantages in terms of cost, time and space. K 45 yarn machine is in modular structure and all the machine design provides maximum safety and flexibility up to 1 632 yarn spindles. FLEXI draft system of the machine also allows for a stable, high quality production even in frequent batch variations of yarns whose drive is requested. While yarn numbers and spinning values can be adjusted by pressing only one button for new yarn productions, highly slim yarns as much as 250 N can also be produced in this machine.
Rieter Rewarded Turkish Student
Rieter, the yarn technologies manufacturer, continues supporting young professionals with the competition organised every year traditionally. Among the students receiving the Rieter Award-2012 International Student Award which is a competition aimed at young and successful professional, there is also a Turkish student. Postgraduate student in the Science Institute of Erciyes University Çiğdem Çalışkan was granted this award with her study titled “Composite Yarns Containing Copper Electromagnetic Shielding Properties of There Yarns”. Rieter awarded students and young professionals who create difference in the field of textile technology in the event held in September, 2012. In addition to Turkish student Çiğdem Çalışkan, the other awards were given to students from China, Bangladesh, Indonesia and India. In the ceremony held in the head office of Rieter in Switzerland, Md Reajul İslam (Bangladesh), Çiğden Çalışkan (Turkey), Arpita Kothari (India) and Fitri Lestari (Indonesia) and Qi Xiao (China) received their awards.
Hosting the winners in its head office in Switzerland, Rieter introduced its firm to young professionals closely by providing information about its product range and production lines. Students also took a trip around Switzerland. Since 1989, awards given by Rieter have encouraged students to enter into the sector.
