Cotton Incorporated (CI) which serves as the pillar of the international marketing of the American cotton industry, introduced its Autumn-Winter trends to the Turkish textile and clothing industry. At the event, Turkey Program Director of CCI Marsha Powell was present as well. Marsha Powell said in the statement that she made to our Publishing Group, that created trends are extremely important. Also stated that, when looking at the chart which formed after the falling experienced in Italy and England which are known as the world fashion giant, Turkey, leaving behind many European countries behind, is one of the countries that spend the most.
The trend presentation which had an intense participation was held by Rachel Crumbley from CI New York trend team. The names of the Cotton Incorporated's new season trends are; Quintessence, Everyday Radical, Disguised and Tres Gentille (Very Polite) and Tectonic.
Quintessence
Quintessence, in its theme, makes the consumers who are in search of fashion and art, versatile and have come to a certain level, but also in search of luxury goods, encourage into thinking that what really defines themselves. At Quintessence, in color; blue ink with brigt focuses coming together with dark background, metal gray and burgundy tones were paired with aerial tons. Quintessence as fabric, provides giving the feeling of satin floor with "pointillism" used in digital printing in both patterns and textures. Wide corduroy and patches reminiscent of relief printing.
Everyday Radical
In the creation stage of Everyday Radical, designers who were inspired from the life that are let things slide, used blue, green, purple and burgundy nested. At the Everyday Radical, where stripes of plain weave which can be inverted for the compact yarn were used, by the irregular jet printing, at cotton dobby fabrics, tweed image was obtained.
Disguised
At Disguised which was prepared by being inspired from Simplification, for the modern-day view, inconspicuous, olive green and brown with red and coral colors are used together. At Disguised which bright and rich colors were preferred in nylon and cotton blends, while shaded prints and quilted combines brings back the camouflage motifs, tricot mesh colorful cotton yarns and lurex stripes are used.
Tres Gentille
Tres Gentille which is influenced by common culture created by different lifestyles coming together, is created by a combination of soft and soothing colors.
At the trend, while indigo and gray colors are combined with pink and blue, use of birds eye embroideries, adds a feminine look to velvet fabrics. New filling yarns and fringed yarns, softens the mesh surface. Worn and faded indigo cotton lines gives a different look to cotton supreme.
Tectonic
The trend Tectonic, generated from natural green, yellow and sherbet color is combined with red and navy blue. Placement of spring yarns, creates a optic moire fabric effect in two yarn fabrics. In cotton knitwears, contrast collars are achieved by needling. Dobby woven fabrics, includes griphite colors.
