At the Kahramanmaraş International Textile Machinery Fair KTM2021, held in a same timetable with the International Textile Summit organized by the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Şahin Balcıoğlu said the following at the opening speech, ‘’ We give importance to this fair. Technology is advancing rapidly at pace, and the machinery exhibited at the fair gives our businesses the privilege to produce with the latest technology. We find it hard to assign personnel neither as single nor in a group to any fair takes place outside of the city or in abroad that are actively working in our production lines at our enterprises. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to send out one or group of employees from our own establishment to other locations. On the other hand, as the machinery with the modern technology are to be exhibited in our mills gives our managers whom working with us the privilege to monitor these machinery in operation. In this way, both time and cost savings are possible. When one of our professionals at our mills share their experience about a technology that is also present in our textile mills and when they further discuss about these machinery with their co-workers to clarify issues, they can get a chance to consult the machinery manufacturers at the fair whom are developing technology about the machinery in the following day once again. This makes our fair important.’’
Our exports have increased by 72 %
President Şahin Balcıoğlu talked about their exports and said that they export major portion of their production and shared the following, ‘’we carry on our path by increasing our exports by 72% in comparison to the year prior with the support we get. Our goal is to be the leader in the global market. Can we achieve our goal? It is apparent that we work with our full capacity to achieve the leadership. We have all eyes on every market starting from Iraq. Any small detail comes to your attention at this fair are very important to our friends. I would like to express my gratitude and I would like to thank to our governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun, who has been with us in our effort to achieve such fairs while organizing these fairs and while conducting our work, to our IBB Mayor Hayrettin Güngör and to our Chairman of the Internal Affairs Commission Celalettin Güvenç whom has been with us in all of our work by sacrificing our Sunday holiday.’'
