president of Istanbul Carpet Exporter' Association, İbrahim Yılmaz who evaluated about expectations of fair and presentation of firms, "Domotex Asia Fair is in the lead of the most important firms of Far East. We chose China as target country in 2008 because of the fact that China is the second biggest country as association in world economy and its tendency of luxury consumption. In this sense, we try to expand our studies about this market." said.
Yılmaz said that Turkey has more field than all countries in Domotex which is the biggest fair of world and took place in Hannover and it represents our country as national situation by reminding that it maintained this feature for 3 years. Yılmaz who stated that they choose firms which attended to fair among firms which will provide their attendance to fair with continuity, repeated that purpose of this is providing permanence about attendance to fair. İbrahim Yılmaz, who said that they are happy because they attend to fair second time, said that they want to increase export in carpet sector by being active further in markets of China. Yılmaz who stated that they only have difficulty in keeping market of China in fair, said that they took place powerfully in markets of competitor countries such as USA, German, Belgium, Italy, Pakistan and Hindustan.

President of IHIB, İbrahim Yılmaz who emphasized that China that is center of mass production of world is a significant competitor, brought his sentences by saying that "China is a country which has capacity of making production in middle and middle-lower segment. We make productions which are high-value-added and design-oriented. We offered quickly our productions to the upper segment in China via fair. Especially hand-made -rug attracted attentions by the upper segment in China, in fair. We know that China is the biggest carpet exporter of world with 2,3milliard dollars according to export numbers of 2011. At the same time population and demands of consumers of China that is the biggest export of hand-made-rug of world, increase strength of market.

Istanbul Carpet Exporter' Association aims to provide 5 milliard 500 million dollars contribution for export target of 2023 of Turkey. Sector of carpet which exceeded limit of 2 milliard dollars by increasing its export at the rate of % 23,5 last year, began quick to first two months of 2013.It is remarked that growth of general export of Turkey in January-February ,2013 term is at the rate of %5 and increase of carpet export is at the rate of %16,9.
