Heimtextil Russia 2013, which was held by Messe Frankfurt on 25-27 September in Moscow, came to an end. There was high level of participation from Turkey to the International Heimtextil Russia Trade Fair addressing a very comprehensive audience from Europe to Asia, from CIS countries to the Middle East countries. Turkey constituted almost 70 % of the participants with its national team and individual companies. Other countries nationally represented in the fair were Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, China, India and Taiwan.
International leading companies in the textile sector came together in the most prestigious textile fair of Russia and introduced the latest home textile and wallpaper collections as well as the most recent trends in interior decoration to the participants.
The fair which was held for the 15th time in Moscow continued to be the most important event where every aspect of home textiles from furnishing fabrics to curtains, from bedroom textiles to bathroom and kitchen textiles as well as wallpapers, furnishings, carpets and coverings were exhibited. Heimtextil Russia does not offer only textiles but also new ideas, inspiration and design features. Under the umbrella of Heimtextil brand undertaking the role of trend setting in the sector, Heimtextil Russia continues developing its creativity by cooperating with professional designers.
Three Days Are Insufficient for the Fair
In relation to the fair to be restricted to three dys, Turkish participants expressed their dissatisfaction and added that the half of the first day was spent on the completion of preparations for the fair; the half of the last day was spent on the closing preparations. They also stated that the fair should cover a longer period as before.
The new online platform and mobile application
Heimtextil Russia used a new mobile application and online platform, which were developed for Android and İOS, this year for the first time so that the visitors can find the company and the products for which they are looking in the fair area.
