Demanded by many sectors including textiles primarily, the 5th International Chemical Industry Group Exhibition Turkchem Chem Show Eurasia, at which chemicals and manufacturing technologies are to be introduced, is to bring together sector professionals at Istanbul Expo Center between the dates of October 11 to 12. Organized in 2006 for the first time, the exhibition covers the topics chemicals, laboratory, technology, cosmetics & detergents, food & pharm, coatings & surface, textile & leather, petro chemistry, composite & plastic, water treatment, packing & recycling.
The 4th edition of the exhibition in 2010 was held with 312 direct participants from 13 countries on an area of 25.000 m2 in 3 halls. In 4 days, total 15210 visitors, 1478 of which were foreign, visited the exhibition.
Followed closely by the global textile industry, Interdye Asia is to be held in Istanbul simultaneously with Turkchem thanks to the works of Artkim Fuarcılık, the exhibition organizer. Interdye exhibition is to introduce innovations in textile dyes, pigments, textile chemicals and technologies. Held for the first time in India within the scope of Asia tour started last year, the event is to take place in Istanbul with the 2nd edition outside of China. Having been held in China for 12 years, the exhibition aims to accelerate the development of China's dyestuff industry. The organization is supported by the Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Dyestuff Industry Association, and China Dyeing and Printing Association.
Environmentally friendly dyes, organic pigments and textile printing and dying additives are among the product segments of the event to take place simultaneously with the Turkey Chemicals Exhibition. The products will be exhibited in an area of 25,000 square meters, the report said. With a quite large scope, Interdye Asia will also feature presentations on issues needing attention when doing business and making investments in Turkey. Experts will make special presentations and briefings on the subject. In addition, visits to Turkey's leather and textile printing and dyeing mills by exhibitors will be organized in the scope of the exhibition.
