The Textile Sector Presented Innovative Designs at Heimtextil

Organized by Messe Franfurt, the Heimtextil Exhibition, once again presented itself as the most important platform for the textile industry, as it brought creative and innovative designs together. Heimtextil, which brought textile manufacturers, young talented designers, sector professionals and visitors together; gave place to a wide group of products, ranging from home textiles including carpeting and flooring, rugs, wall decoration, coverings, upholstery, decorative fabrics, curtains and textile curtain accessories, to household textiles consisting of bed linens, bedding, mattresses, table and kitchen linens, bathroom textiles and accessories, as well as textile machinery.

Within the scope of the event, in the ‘Design live’ area, renowned design studios and talented young designers showcased their creative designs for house and home textiles. With record participation levels of around 230 exhibitors from 28 countries, visitors found the opportunity to see the world's largest range of textile designs. The participants from countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Austria, Turkey and many more, showcased their products for house and home textiles at the exhibition.

Regarding the topic sharing her insights, Sabine Scharrer, Manager of Heimtextil, quoted as follows; “Good designs are what really make a collection attractive. They are the first thing a customer sees. We're proud of the continued growth in exhibitors and the international variety amongst the textile designers presenting here.”

In addition to the various seminars that took place within the scope of the exhibition, the ‘Young Creations Award: Upcycling’ project and the ‘Heimtextil CAMPUS’, were also the highlights of the event, providing up-and-coming talents the opportunity to make inroads into their chosen career and to make contacts with textile companies.
