57th Global Fiber Congress, gathering world’s most important fiber producers, will be carried out on 12- 14 September in Dornbirn, Austria. Among the innovations of the congress whose main theme will be sustainability this year, there are smart textile products, panels about circular economy and social network to be created among the participants. To obtain wide perspectives about the sector by the participants and to provide the sustainability of the sector, about 100 expert lectures will give trainings about fiber innovations, recycling, energy generation and energy storage, surface modification and additive technologies. Sebastian Kurz, the Austrian Federal Chancellor, will realize the opening of the congress in which more than 700 participants from over 30 nations will take part.
Necat Altın Is Also At Opening Panel
In the panel named ‘Planet, People, Profit’ to be held after the opening speech of chancellor, senior staff of Europe’s and Asia’s important fiber manufacturers will gather. At this panel, Textile Group President Necat Altın will take his part in the name of Zorlu Holding. One of the important guests of the organization will be James Holbery, USA Agent of Microsoft. Holbery will share his expectations and experiences about ‘smart textile products and the contributions of digitalization for textile sector’ to the participants. Yogendra Dandapure from Lululemon Athletica will share the opinions about the future trends for the sector. The congress will end after the close event to be realized on 14 September.
