Due to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020, seeming progress in the global exhibition industry has come to a standstill. Many fairs were either postponed or canceled. The 21st Zhejiang International Textile and Garment Industry Fair postponed from 22-24 July 2020 to 12-14 May 2021.
COVID19 Outbreak Still Posing Risk
The 21st Zhejiang International Textile and Garment Industry Fair, planned to be held on March 3, 2020, initially postponed to July 22-24, 2020. However, it was then rescheduled to a new dates between 12h to 14 May 2021 on the grounds that the epidemic still posing a global risk.
In the private statement made by the fair organization, “We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay. After the outbreak, more innovative ideas, new products and new technologies will be urgently needed to awaken the market. The 21st Zhejiang International Textile and Apparel Industry Fair will continue to go hand in hand with the China Health Services Textile Branch to organize the "International Health Textile Science and Technology Innovation Conference" in May 2021, and the post-epidemic recovery process will help to accelerate the textile industry.’’
