Texworld, international trade fair for apparel fabrics and accessories, was held in Paris on the 17th-20th February. The number of participant increased 10 % compared to the previous year, 620 participants will exhibit their new collection for spring / summer collection 2015.
Thanks to effects of positive developments and the intense demand, there was an increase in the number of firms participating in the fair. Turkey ranked second among the participating countries having the highest numbers in terms of participation. China, Turkey, South Korea and India were the very first four countries in terms of number of participants.
In embroidery and lace fields, 20 new participants took place İdeal Tekstil and Save Tekstil operating in Knitting, HMT Tekstil which is a garments and underwear manufacturer in the field of embroidery and lace, Gökhan Textiles which is a pure cotton and cotton linen blended fabric manufacturer, Drita Tekstil which is specialized in children's clothing and is operating in the field of digital printing are among the outstanding Turkish companies which attended the fair.
Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, Art Directors presented the 2015 spring / summer creations with “Mash-up” presentation. In the event which was prepared with the inspiration obtained from nature by using new technologies, the colour palettes of the season will be exhibited with rich shades. The trends of the fair were compiled in a book consisting of 6 parts, one of the parts was prepared for Denim and the other one was prepared for accessories.
