With a year-on-year increase in registrations which is more than just positive, the international fashion trade fair, centred on fabrics, sundries and accessories, will occupy two halls, which is a first for the February date. Texworld Paris will again be seen to shed a powerful light on the world textile industry aimed at the European market, thanks to its policy of identifying new businesses and skills.

Trends and markets, the distinguishing feature of Texworld Paris

The new edition of the two-part Texworld trends brochure elaborates on content which is even richer this season. The visitor will therefore be able to discover the conceptual theme “Contact” as a whole, around eight inspiring concepts: Complexity - Unrefined - Wired - Hollowness - Compactness - Colouring - Perspective and Transparency. One of the main attractions of a visit to Texworld Paris is the range of associated Texworld trade fairs, taking place at the same venue on the same dates - Apparel Sourcing Paris, Avanprint Paris, Avantex Paris and Shawls & Scarves - the accessories showcase.

Avanprint makes its debut

Avanprint, the trade fair for digital printing solutions, running in parallel with Texworld Paris and Apparel Sourcing, has been organized by Messe Frankfurt France. Avanprint will showcase innovative solutions and the latest developments in digital textile printing, where high-tech and creativity are entering an equal partnership. Digital printing can slash the time from development to delivery.

High-tech + fashion textiles

The second Avantex, the trade fair dedicated to high-tech fashion fabrics and to R&D in the industry. 15-18 February at Paris Le Bourget. Avantex is asserting itself both as an indispensable B2B platform for rethinking fashion and creating intelligent collections in order to conquer new markets.

“We are thrilled”, said Michael Scherpe, CEO of Messe Frankfurt France, “that this trade fair will have two firsts in February 2016: Morocco will make an impressive entrance in February, with a shared pavilion under the auspices of AMITH (Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries), which demonstrates the strategic medium-and long-term interest in Apparel Sourcing. Dialog Textil Bekleidung (Textile Clothing Dialogue), the non-profit-making network of businesses in the supply chain, will hold its AGM at the fair on Wednesday, 17 February. Outside Germany for the first time, with around one hundred participants deeply involved in sourcing matters, it represents a new group of visitors to Apparel Sourcing.
