The powerful media organ of textile, ready wear, fashıon, accessories sectors, TextoWear continues the tradition of taking part in important events of these sectors.Keeping the pulse of the sector by participating in many fairs which turn into the global and regional platforms, TextoWear carries out interviews directly with industry professionals on the one hand and hands out hundreds of copies of the magazine to visitors.Our magazine which participated in Heimtextil Frankfurt, Milano Unica, Premier Vision ve DTG fairs in Jjanuary Ffebruary period, will participate in Texbridge, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textile and Fashion Industry fairs in March.
TextoWear followed Heimtextil Frankfurt which is the biggest home textile fair of the world and was organised in Germany on 9-12 January on site. In the fair where contract textiles and sustainability stood out, Textowear reached to readers for free. Taking part in the fair with a powerful editorial team, as Textowear, we made direct interviews with sector representatives. Milano Unica which is an important fabric and accessories fair of Italy and Europe became another important stop for us. Including four different events, Milano Unica has Moda In for avant-garde textile materials, Ideabiella where prestigious men’s and women’s wear fabric collections are exhibited, Ideacomo for outstanding women’s wear collections and Shirt Avenue for traditional and innovative shirt fabrics. At the same time, we became the only publication taking part in the event. In the interviews that our editors made with manufacturers and buyers from Italy and Europe, expectations for the next season were discussed.
TextoWear at the Center of Fashion
As one of the most important centers of fashion, ready wear, fabric and accessory sectors, Paris is among the places which we, as Textowear, visit several times a year. Following fashion trends on site, our magazine tookits place in Premiere Vision Pluriel held in Paris on 12-14 February. Fabrics and accessories determining the fashion of the upcoming year were presented to visitors at Premier Vision in Paris. Incorporating such important organisations as ModAmont, Indigo, Expofil, Premier Vision, Lecuira Paris and Zoom, Premiere Vision Pluriel completed its edition in February with 58.000 visitors. A total of 1.742 international firms showed up in the events held in Nord Villepinte, Paris on 12-14 February 2013.
Increasing its number of participants by 5.8 % in comparison to the previous year, the event was followed mostly by foreign visitors. Besides, participants of Premiere Vision hosted their visitors with 2014 Spring/Summer fabric collections. At Expofil where yarn and fibre products stood out, special programs for 2014/2015 Fall/Winter season were presented to the visitors. As the only Turkish publication in this event, TextoWear followed the successful event closely. The next edition of Premier Vision will be held on 17-19 September 2013 and we will also follow this important event of the sector.
Participation with stands in fairs at 3 continents
While fashion and trend perceptions stand out in European based fairs, the fair organized in Asia focus on the production process. China, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan continue growing in this region as the most important manufacturers. As in the previous years, TextoWear continues following the fairs held in these countries with close and great attention. One of the most important textile fairs, DTG was held in Bangladesh from 31 January to 3 February 2013. In the fair which hosted its visitors with the concepts of textile machines, accessories and fabrics, TextoWear magazine was distributed for free. Participating in this fair with its stand, TextoWear investigated local market which outperformed its rivals in the field of apparel. In the fair which provided a platform where machine manufacturers met with local textile and apparel manufacturers, TextoWear developed a close dialogue with visitors.
Texprocess and Techtextil At June Agenda
Texprocess will be the most important event which TextoWear Magazine will show up in June, 2013. The International Trade Fair in textile and flexible material processing technologies, Texprocess will be held at Frankfurt Exhibition Center on 10-13 June 2013 concurrently with Techtextil. At Texprocess, manufacturers from all around the world will present high technology solutions for wear, industry and textile processing on site. All product groups of the event include information technologies and logistics, finishing, embroidery, sewing, molding and cutting. On the other hand, Techtextil appeals to a wide product range covering large segments in textile value chain. Participating in this important fair with a stand, TextoWear Magazine will hand over many free magazines to readers.
The biggest ready wear and accessory fair of Russia, Fashion Industry, which will be held in St.Petersburg on 14-17 March is another event where we will show up. The fair which will unite international textile and wear sectors, the fair will include outerwear knitted clothes, leathers and furs, underwear and socks, bags and accessories. About 3000 participants from 12 different countries and numerous visitors are expected to the fair.
In March, TextoWear will show up in two important events in Turkey. The first one of them is Texbridge which is the fabric and accessory fair to be held at CNREXPO on 13-15 March and it is of great importance for the sector. Following this fair, TextoWear will attend WIN (World of Industry) to be organized at Tuyap Convention Center on 21-24 March.
