CETI (Centre European Des Textiles Innovants) International Forum, at which innovations in the textile sector are to be discussed, will be held in Lille on October the 11th. Textile of the future and latest technological products are the main subject of the forum. The forum, organized by innovative and Euro – centric understanding of textiles, will be transformed into an organization which hosts high – level meetings. The most important issues of the 21st century in the context of textiles are to be addressed in the edition. New technologies in areas such as fashion, filtration, telecommunications equipment, the health branch, and building equipment, which are under the influence of the textile sector, are among the issues to be discussed in the forum.
Senior executives of leading companies of the sector are among the participants of the forum. More than 400 participants including professionals of companies are expected to be in the forum. Among the countries from which intensive participation is expected are France, United States, Canada, Japan and many countries in the Euroregion. Throughout the forum, the participating countries and companies will assess the revolutionary potentials of new fiber and materials and their area of usage. This will also be a private forum in which technologies of new business areas are assessed. The program of the CETI International Forum has been created by an examination of 3 specific areas. In the area, where new equipments are visited and new brands are demonstrated, work on the future of textile is eagerly anticipated.
New Technologies for New Fibers
The issues of the upstream in the sector: issues that are not only the concern of the textile are expected to be discussed. Ideas about the most important textile materials such as fiber will be presented. In the event where the pros and cons of the new polymer products will be discussed, latest spinning tools technology is one of the titles that make up the agenda.
In addition to these, with an assessment of development processes, Nylon, élasthanne, Kermel and Kevlar which are revolutionary in the textile sector, are also among the important topics of the forum. Total which makes difference with its latest work on the PLA, Japan Chemical Fiber Industry which attracted the attention of the entire world with its technological perception, Roquette with its special work which explains its industrial strategy, Braskem with the bio polymers strategy and Hills with its high - tech equipments are among the most notable participants of the forum.
In the afternoon edition of the forum, the underlying title is innovation in management. The chapter which will be presented with the motto 'innovation never occurs alone' focuses on strategies useful in management. In addition, CETI carries out studies on flexible and advantageous material with more than 350 researchers in the Euroregion. The objectives of the forum which directs the sector with its studies are the discussion of technologies and production which has not been made before, and suggestions of manufacturers and equipment about the latest technological products.
New Technonogies for New Markets; 'Barrier Effect'
In this chapter of the forum, meetings will be held in which nonwoven products of important markets especially isolation and filtration and the products of today and tomorrow are to be discussed. Renault Air, Camfil Farr, Soprema, Edana, Macopharma, North Carolina Research Center will participate in the studies in terms of markets in forum meetings.
