For the first time Textile and Raw Material Exporters Association (İTHİB) decided to support a textile machinery exhibition. With the protocol signed between Kahramanmaraş Textile Machinery Exhibition KTM 2014 organizers ECR Fuar, İTHİB will be doing important works for the introduction of the exhibition. With the protocol, member firms of İTHİB by participating in all activities under the organization, will benefit B2B facilities.
İTHİB operates as an institution with over 4,000 members that represents the textile exporters in Turkey. İTHİB members performs more than 70 percent of Turkey's total textile exports, the production and exports to all kinds of textile products that is operating across the country such as yarns, fabrics, home textiles, industrial / technical fabrics and accessories. In his statement that İTHİB President İsmail Gülle made on the subject, stated that they care KTM 2014 that will be held this year between 23-25 October in Kahramanmaraş Exhibition Centre and it is of great importance for the textile industry that operates in Kahramanmaraş and its region, "İTHİB is an important export association of the industry. This kind of organization that will take place in Kahramanmaraş which is considered as the center of the Turkish textile industry production, will contribute to the industry and indirectly to the export. By thinking that we need to be in an area where there is export, we decided to support KTM 2014.”
Ümit Vural, organizer of the KTM 2014, made a statement on behalf ECR Fuar, emphasized that as a result of the interviews conducted for a long time, they signed an official protocol with İTHİB which is one of the pioneers of textile industry associations also saying that they will continue to work with İTHİB in full compliance. Vural, noting that the support of İTHİB is very important contribution to the exhbition, "This protocol is a step taken on behalf of sectoral cooperation and solidarity. The importance of Kahramanmaraş in Turkish textile export, is now even stronger with this step."
