Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, which brings together the world's leading apparel and fabric companies, will be held on 3-5 March 2014 in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is aimed that more than 100,000 visitors will attend the organization where the leading manufacturer companies will take part. The event, where the leading manufacturers of the global market will show up with large pavilions, will turn into a show, where the latest technological products will be exhibited in such fields as cotton, wool, silk, linen, knitted and coated fabrics, underwear and swimwear fabrics, functional fabrics, printed fabrics, fibres and yarns, embroidery, lace and accessories.
In previous years, the fair was organized in two editions, one of them was held in Shanghai while the other one was held in Beijing. This year, Korea, Taiwan and Japan, following China, are standing out in the fair, which will be solely held in Shanghai. It is expected that the products, which will be exhibited in large pavilions, will stand out in the event. The groups coming from 12 countries and regions are impatiently awaited. It was stated that more than 40 participants will take part in Japanese Pavilion and it is expected that the products requiring advanced technological fabrics and workmanship will be exhibited in this pavilion. In the exhibition of Japan, where examples of coated fabrics will be presented, the manufacturers will look for new customers.
Hall Europe
European manufacturers, who have showed a great interest to Intertextile Shanghai Apparel and Fabric Fair in recent years, will take part in Hall Europe, where fabrics and accessories manufacturers participating from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Turkey will exhibit their products.
In Hall Europe, the best 100 Italian textile manufacturers will present prestigious fabric and accessories collections to the visitors in the fields of menswear and womenswear. The German pavilion will host 11 participants offering a wide range of advanced technology products, functional fabrics and accessories.
Verve for Design
In addition to rapidly increasing number of country pavilions, "Verve for Design", which has recently drawn a great deal of attention, will host textile designers in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel and Fabric Fair. In Verve for Design, textile designers will present original and creative textile and apparel designs.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring Edition is the leading place to find indications for the Spring / Summer 2015 season. All visitors can explore ideas in the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum in halls 1 & 2, which have been developed by the designer and Intertextile Directions Trend Committee member Ornella Bignami,
The Intertextile Directions Trend Committee is comprised of industry experts from New York, Milan, Paris and Tokyo. They have developed four themes to illustrate the Spring / Summer 2015 trends that are on display in the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum. These are: breathe, play dance, dive.
Since the fair is planned to be held in March which corresponds to the spring season when the amount of purchases reaches the peak, a high number of visitors is expected.
Besides, owing to other events to be held concurrently with this organisation, Shanghai will be the heart of the textile sector. Yarn Fair will be held concurrently with Shanghai Apparel and Fabric Fair at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre.
