Premiere Vision Witnessed Special Designs

Incorporating such important events as ModAmont, Indigo, Expofil, Premier Vision, Lecuira Paris, Zoom in its concept, Premiere Vision Pluriel completed its February edition with 58.000 visitors. Organised at Nord Villepinte, Paris, on 12-14 February 2013, the event hosted a total of 1,742 international firms. Having an increase of 5,8 % in comparison to previous year, the fair was followed mostly by foreign visitors. Besides, participants of Premiere Vision hosted their visitors with 2014 Spring/Summer collections. At Expofil, special programs for 2014/2015 Fall/Winter season were presented to visitors.

Among fairs held within the scope of Premiere Vision Pluriel, Expofil stands out as a concept where raw materials for fashion are displayed. In the fair, sustainable fibres, high performance yarns and recyclable commercial materials are offered. Premiere Vision is also defined as an event where new fabric designs are presented. The organisation determines fabric trends with special activities where many firms take part every year. Lecuira Paris is known as an event prioritising the leather and fur products, in particular. In the fair, clothes, leather products, shoes, accessories, furniture and decoration elements are introduced.

New Participants at ModAMont

The leading fair of the global fashion and accessories sector, ModAmont organised a successful edition in February. Having hosted more than 300 visitors in the previous event, ModAmont is organised to exhibit textile and metallic accessories, labels, zips and jewellery components. In the edition in February where fur products stood out in particular, such companies as Parkin Fabrics, Marcy-Cote Plume presented their products. Organised for the 35th time, ModAmont hosted 19 new participants from Spain, Italy, Czech Republic and Turkey. Form Düğme took its place among firms manufacturing buttons and accessories. Apart from Form Düğme, Bodo Jagdberg, Güldoğan, Hitit Transfer, Knopf Und Knopf Düğme, Polsan, Timay ve Tempo, Union Knopf also took part in the event from Turkey for the first time. Having hosted 22.572 visitors in February edition, ModAmont increased the number of its visitors by 4,5 %. The most oustanding aspect of the event was that almost 50 % of the participants showed up in the fair on the second day.

About 60 % of all participants of ModAmont came from foreign countries. This shows the global power of the event. On terms of countries, 9,052 visitors came from France. İmportant buyers from Italy, Spain and Portugal also took part in the event as visitors. While Brazil, Finland and Sweden saw declines in terms of the number of visitors, India, Korea, Poland and Russia saw significant increases in the fair. The number of visitors from the USA remained at the same level.

6 Turkish Firms at Expofil

Many firms from the global market participated at Expofil which is one of the most important events of Premiere Vision Pluriele. In the fair where raw materials of fashion sector such as fibre and yarn stood out, İskur Tekstil, Karsu Tekstil, Orteks Tekstil, Polyteks Tekstil, Selçuk İplik and Ulusoy Tekstil showed up. The number of visitors from China and Brazil declined in the fair. On the other hand, the numner of visitors from Japan and the USA which are the most active markets increased. In addition to product presentations, sector representatives were informed in special meetings. Besides, TrendVision seminar organised by Premiere Vision fashion team increased its power in the event. At Premiere Vision where explanations were made about the fall edition to be held in September, it was announced that a new hall arrangement would be preferred in the ensuing period. While it was expressed that all events could be reached through a single entrance, it was added that ModAmont would be transferred to the 4th Hall from 3rd Hall.

Maison d’Exceptions Strengthens

Maison d’Exceptions which is a fashion design materials and accessories exhibition designed as an area dedicated to know-how information was organised jointly by ModAmont and Premiere Vision. While there were 8 participants in the event held in September, 2011, the last organisation hosted 16 firms. Besides, one of the promotion activities of Premiere Vision, Hyeres International Fashion and Photography Fest will continue encouraging young designs. Jury’s Special Award of the event to be held on 26-29 April will be renamed as Premiere Vision Jury’s Special Award. Completing its February edition with numerous events, Premiere Vision Pluriel has set its agenda for 2013: Denim by Premiere Vision on 22-23 May in Paris; Premier Vision Pluriel (Expofil, ModAmont, Indigo) on 17-19 September in Paris; Indigo Brussels on 10-12 September 2013; Premier Vision Sao Paulo on 10-11 July 2013; Premier Vision Shanghai and Denim by Premiere Vision Asia on 20-21 March 2013; Indigo New York on 9-10 April 2013; Premier Vision New York, Indigo New York on 22-23 July 2013.
