MTG (Machine Presentation Group), constituted by the Anatolian Machine and Parts Exporters Community in order to support the Turkish machine producers in 2007 and to contribute to the presentation processes in the exporting markets, is being closed off. While meaning the “export like clockwork” campaign held by the group, this incident created a shock by involving that Adnan Dalgakıran, the OAİB president, will not be candidate for the next elections.
When Adnan Dalgakıran heard that MTG, owner of the presentation campaign with the slogan “export like clockwork”, he stated that he will not be candidate for the forthcoming elections. Reminding that MTG’ s incomes are provided by the half in a thousand cut made from machine export , Dalgakıran summarized the process as such; “We tried to hold our community still during my 10 years duty. But our community was separated into pieces as İstanbul Electric and Electronics Machine Exporters Community, Climating Exporters Community and Defense Industry Exporters Community. Due to this separate structure, machine industry lost its power to act like a whole. This separate structure damaged us. Among these firms, the ones who recorded exports do not pay the cut made for MTG. I have to be fair. I do not want to continue this with money of that three. Because of these problems, we think to close Machine Presentation Group off. Dissolution of MTG will exist in 5-6 months”.
Dalgakıran, stating confirmation was not got from the Ministry of Economy to the project they prepared, defended that this such a treatment is not shown to the other presentation groups. While Dalgakıran stated that he will not be candidate for exporters community elections to be held in 2014, he added: “I do not want to occupy places that I will not be beneficial. From now on, I aspire for somewhere or not, that is another subject”.
