Turkey is the guest of honour in JEC Europa, the world's largest fair of composite raw materials, products and technologies, which will be held in Paris. The fair which will be held in Paris on 12th-14th March stands out with its popularity in global area. The previous year, in 2012,181 companies, the most of them out of France, participated in the fair which was visited by 32.256 people, 80 per cent of them were out of France. It is expected that more than twenty Turkish companies will participate in the fair in which 15 Turkish companies participated, 6 of them in Turkish pavilions, the previous year. Other than individual participation, Turkey which stands out with its composites production and trade relations every year will participate in the fair with a national team including at least 10 companies this year. JEC fair which increased its number of visitors by 86 % during the last ten years is known as an organisation in which the most important composite products of global market are shown. The fair which will host the experts from various regions of the world also will be an organisation in which the special information about the global composite markets and are given and the strategic production studies are conducted. Furthermore, the conferences, the technical sale presentations and technical shows will be organised in the fair. The composites industry which stands out with its 550.000 employees and its trade volume of 77 billion Euros will be assessed in the event to be held in Paris. Other than the conferences, the negotiations of companies enable more efficient communication. The issues about the last technical and technological developments and new applications of composites used in such fields as aviation, automotive, maritime transportation and ground shipment, construction will be discussed during the fair.
The Europe Is An Emerging Market
It was stated by the fair authorities that Turkey has one of the most innovative composites industry, and it was emphasized that this country has a trade volume of 1 billion Euros and production volume of 200.000 tons. The authorities who assess Turkey as in European region state that this region has a strong technology of composites production. The composites production of Turkey which grows at double-digit rates increases the interest of the global experts in terms of investment and promotion.
Considering the global composite markets, we see that this market recorded an increase by 6 % in 2012. The Chairman and CEO of JEC Group, Frederique Mutel, who making statements about the growth experienced in global market, emphasized that the growth will almost be at these rates every year. Expressing that there was 9.2 metric ton production in 2012, Mutel stated that these productions are used for increasing the energy efficiency, and for the weightlessness of the automobiles. Mutel said: '' We will focus on such fields as the equipment of space, aviation, ship, railway, automotive, construction.''.
Eurasian Composites Show Will Be Organized In Turkey
In Turkey, the composites sector displays more aggressive growth than other countries. Especially the developments experienced in the field of construction during the last ten years provide that the growth rate of sector increase by 10-12 %. The requirements of promotion arising from this growth revealed the need of a new fair to be held in Turkey. Eurasian Composites Show (Composite Industry and Manufacturing Technologies Fair) organised for Balkan countries, Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Africa will be held in İstanbul Expo Center on 14th-16th November 2013. The event which will be organised on the same dates with '' PUTECH Eurasia, Polyurethane Industry Fair" which is considered as one of the world's leading trade fairs in the international area. Raw materials and chemicals, fibres, intermediate products, semi-finished and finished products, products used in the field of moulding are among the products to be exhibited in the fair.
