The sixth edition of the ITMA Asia + CITME 2018 is held in Shanghai with the participation of industrial companies that played an important role in the elements of the technology that will carry the Chinese textile industry to the future. The exhibition area covering 180,000 square meters and bringing 1733 exhibitors from 28 countries and 28 economies together introduces the technology solutions that will make textile manufacturers more competitive.
CEMATEX and CTMA Chairmen Deliver A Speech
"During every ITMA Asia + CITME fair, presentations comprising the latest technologies of the European machinery manufacturers are exhibited. The exhibition includes products such as technical textile and nonwoven materials, as well as a wide range of products, including automation and sustainability solutions," says Mr. Fritz P. Mayer, Chairman of CEMATEX.

Participation Rate Of Countries
The Chinese machine manufacturers have the largest participation with 68,000 square meters of net exhibition space. As for the Asian participation, Taiwan's net area of 3,500 sqm is followed by Taiwan with 2,500 sqm
Considering the European participation rate, Germany covers 6.400 sqm, followed by Italy by 5,200 sqm , and Switzerland by 2.600 sqm. As for the production distribution on attendant base, yarn is showcased in 22% of the fairground while it is respectively followed by finishing in 20%, by knitting in 19% and by weaving in 17%.
