ITM, regarded as the most important textile machinery exhibition in Turkey, explained a new agenda. Held in 2009 latest, the exhibition was organized this year on 21st – 24th April at Tüyap Exhibition and Congress Center. Major textile machinery manufacturers showed great interest in the exhibition as it is an exhibition held in Turkish market after long years, and the organizers were satisfied in terms of visitors. Thanks to the positive results obtained, Teknik Fuarcılık, the organizer of the exhibition, preponed the date of the next edition explained as 2014 before, down to 2013.
In the explanation provided, it was stated that the investments revived in 2011 after the global economic crisis are continuing in 2012, and Turkish textile manufacturers headed for investments due to factors such as speed, low costs, the efficient use of resources and environment protection. Necip Güney, Marketing Director of Teknik Fuarcılık, reminded that Turkey is one of the 3 countries that purchase machines most and claimed that thus, ITM Texpo Eurasia 2012 Exhibition receives heavy interest. He reported that the incentive package applied by the government led the organization of the exhibition in 2013 and continued; “Because the incentive package has a certain period. It means that 5 years later you cannot claim to benefit from the package announced in 2012. You have to hurry to benefit from it; otherwise you will not have the right to make used of it. Considering this point, we will once more bring together the businessmen who wish to benefit from these incentives, with new technologies in order to enable the textile manufacturers to complete their investments”.
