ITM Texpo Eurasia will organize an event one year after the edition held in 2012. The event which will be held in Beylikdüzü Convention Center between 29 May and 1 June is expected to attract important actors of the textile world. Making explanations before the event, Necip Güney who is Fair Sales and Marketing Director of Technical Fair Organisation, stated that the expectations have increased after the previous edition held on the 21-24th April 2012.
Expressing that Turkey became one of three countries which purchased machines at the most in 2012 emphasized that important sales volumes were recorded in the previous fair edition. Güney continued by saying: “Last year, the investment amount of firms reached a significant level. The government support also paved the way for new investments of firms. In particular, such decisions as reducing VAT rates, increasing tax rates in fabric and apparel import and imposing quotas for cotton thread have increased the competitiveness of Turkish textile manufacturers and also increased the production capacity. Investment incentives explained following these decisions also triggered new investments.
Explaining that they decided to organise a fair with the motivation of incentive package, Güney stated that “We want to help firms take sound steps while benefiting from these incentives.”. Emphasizing that the incentive decisions have a certain time, Güney said that they would provide the firms wishing to complete their investments as soon as possible with new technologies. Güney stated that Texpo Eurasia had difficulty in determining a time table due to local fairs organised throughout the world in 2012 and emphasized that they would be the most outstanding fair of 2013.
