Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabric Fair which was organized by Messe Frankfurt will take place in Shanghai New International Fair Center. Milano Unica will provide a strong participation again at the fair that will host on 21-24 October, 2013. This event that Italian producers who will take part in European Saloon are the biggest participant country after China will be followed by editors of Tekstil Dünyası Edition Group onsite. Functional fabrics and sustainability will take part in focus points of fair in this edition. A show that includes special seminar programmes, catwalk shows and design competitions will be presented.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabric Fair will have significant changes compared to last year. It is expected that this event which will be presented in 15 Halls will host about 3500 domestic and international exhibitors in an area covering over 170.000 square meters. Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabric Fair which is the most important event in terms of its segment in Asian region is supported by China Cotton Textile Association,
China Wool Textile Association, China Bast and Leaf Fibres Textile Association, China Silk Association, China Chemical Fibers Association, China Dyeing and Printing Association, China Knitting Industrial Association, China Home Textile Association, China Filament Weaving Association, China National Garment Association, China Fashion Designers Association, China Fashion Designers & Color Association, Federation of China Textile and Garment Entrepreneurs.
It is stated in explanations of organizers that return of western firms means that domestic demand in China is attached importance. While it is announced that authorities will make active business connection especially in W1 Europe Hall, it is stated that participants of 124 Italian brands after agreement of last year is great opportunities for both European and Chinese producers. It is reported that producers of domestic and international apperal and accessories will take part in E6 and E7 when another participant countries are looked. India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand which take part in Asian pavilion will take part in halls W2-4.
Seminar Programme is Quiet Intense
Chinese authorities besides European authorities pointed out that the fields of Verve for Design and Premium Wool get involved in programme again. It is expected that especially designs which are presented with middle class and high level items will draw attention. Functional fabrics on the subject of sustainability will include a special field this year in the fair. It is expected that significant works will be introduced in this field that expectations increased nowadays in this event which recycled fabrics will be exhibited. A Successful Edition Took Place Last Year
65.788 participants from different 98 countries took part at the fair which took place in an area covering 150.000 square meters in 2012. 3.358 firms from 28 countries took part at the fair that host its exhibitors with few themes such as cotton, wool, silk, man-made, knitted fabrics, underwear and swimwear fabrics, functional fabrics, printed fabrics, fibres and yarns, embroidery, accessories, textile technology and fashion. Almodo Altunlar Tekstil, Anteks Antalya Tekstil, Bezsan Tekstil, Bossa Ticaret Ve Sanayi İşletmeleri, Kaynak Tekstil, Konak Tul Perde, Sanko Tekstil İşletmeleri, Söktaş Tekstil, Yünsa Yünlü Sanayi from Turkey participated in March edition of this event.
Yarn Expo will be Organized Concurrently
Yarn Expo Autumn which is organized with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabric Fair will take place in Shanghai New International Fair Center. It is expected that this fair which will be exhibited in an area covering 3.000 square meters will be visited by 5.000 people. It is expected that fair which host 100 participants from 11 countries especially from a big part of China in 2012 edition will be a platform that most domestic producers make advertising activities. Natural yarn, natural and man-made fibres, elastic and synthetic yarns form concept of Yarn Expo fair. There are exhibitors from the fields of garment manufacturers, trading companies, agents and press and also this fair is supported by especially Messe Frankfurt and Chinese associations.
Chinese and Indian firms draw attentions in fair which fibre and yarn products take part in. Texprocil provides a strong participation to this fair that is expected to affect increase of yarn production in Indian market. While it is announced that apart from these countries Pakistan will participate on behalf of yarn market in southern Asia, the fact that no participants from Turkey will participate draws attention.
