
Intertextile Beijing Apparel and Textile Fair will be held in China International Exhibition Center on 27th -29th March 2013. The Italian companies' interest stands out in the fair where Chinese manufacturers show the most intense participation. The Italy which will be in the fair with more than 100 Italian companies will participate to the event with Milano Unica Pavillion. It is stated that the managers of the fair are satisfied with the number of Italian participants increasing in line with the agreement signed last year between Intertextile Apparel Fabrics and Milano Unica. Wendy Wen, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt, expressed that they received many favourable comments thanks to the potential created by Milano Unica last year.
In addition, major European fabric manufacturers are preparing to make an effective presentation in Salon Europe. The special area Salon Europe takes more space with an increase of 20% compared to previous year
year. The European Pavilion in which there are Germany, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom will use 6,000 sqm of exhibition space, covering Halls 2 and 3. The Portuguese Pavilion has also confirmed to participate again due to the overwhelming response received from the previous edition. Organised by the Associacao Selectiva Moda, the participating companies will display an array of high-quality shirting fabrics to thrive in China market.
Over 1,300 exhibitors have been confirmed at Intertextile Beijing
Turkish companies will exhibit their products in Turkish Pavilion organised by the Uludag Exporters’ Association. Turkish companies participating in the fair are listed as Almodo Altunlar, Anteks Antalya Tekstil, Bossa Formal & Smart Casualwear, Bossa Shirting, Bossa TAS, Özlem Kumaş, Söktaş Dokuma, Teknik Mensucat, Yünsa. It is stated that over 1,300 exhibitors from 16 countries will be in the fair where Apparel Fabrics and acccessories stand out.
It is expected that the fair, which stands out due to the growth of the apparel fabrics and accessories industry in China, will make a contribution for the global apparel and fabric industry. Considering the products in the fair, we see that the accessories, casual wear, children's and baby clothing, swimwear and underwear, shirting fabrics, suits, functional and sports clothing, women's and men's clothing stand out this year. The products groups to be promoted by companies include all kinds of fabric. In addition, there will be an area where Spring / Summer 2014 trend forecast will be shown. The preference colors which will be presented in four themes as ‘Serene Spirit’, ‘ Blue Mood’, Sweet Rebel’, Expressive Soul’ will form the basis of special studies for 2014.
4 Trend Themes Will Be Presented
The hall 3 which is reserved for the trend forum is one of the most wondered places in the event. Spring-Summer 2014 trends consisting of four titles will be exhibited in this area. In the forum where NellyRodi is responsible for coordinating, Kai Chow from New York, Sachiko Inoue form Tokyo, Ornella Bignami from Milan will present their ideas as expert in the committee. In ''Serene Spirit'', the traces of a calm soul stand out. This theme calls for natural, multi-functional, practical, comfortable and safe fabrics.
The natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, ramie, hemp and paper and functional fabrics such as waterproof, durable, light are utilised for this theme. The focal point of the theme includes protective clothing as well as local products. ''Sweet Rebel'' theme includes what is complicated in terms of appearance. Crafted jacquard, elaborate lace, embossed finishing, and trimmings such as frills and ribbons, fantasy-inspired fabrics and patterns are used and pastel colors stand out in this theme. The last theme is ''Expressive Soul''. Multicultural energy is the driving force behind this theme. In this theme, futuristic and functional fabrics are a focus and ethnically inspired stripes and checks are used to give a bold, intense look, while slub yarn, translucency and embroidery are important.
