The symposium will be organized by Ege University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Textile Engineering on 2-5 April 2014 and both from domestic and foreign textile and garment industry show great interest for the symposium.
The symposium, in which the latest innovations in textile technology and current topics will be discussed, will be a platform for the problems of industry and it will be enriched with a variety of activities. In the symposium, which will be sponsored by Benninger-AG, DyStarTextilfarbenGmbH and Swissmem, 2BFUNTEX session will also be presented for functional and technical textiles. 2BFUNTEX, which will be organized in accordance with EU Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), is a project aiming that the existing potential of functional textiles will be revealed and functional textile materials will take its place in the market with the cooperation between research centres, industry and academics.
