The fair that made a huge impression on participants with its fashion shows, podium exhibits, and events also made a contribution to the local economy with its trade-related meetings. While the fair welcomed professional visitors from different regions of Turkey and from every part of the globe, many agreements also have been achieved amongst purchasing committees. Participating companies made their own evaluations about the fair and on the visitor interest.
The 16th IF Wedding Fashion İzmir-Wedding and Grooming Dress and Special Event Clothing Fair, on 22-25 November 2022, have become the center of fashion and trade. Under the home ownership of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and in partnership with the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association, the event that organized by the İZFAŞ welcomed 222 exhibitors participating from Turkey and from 10 countries with their product groups ranging from special event clothing, wedding dress, groom dress to accessories and children's clothing. The fair welcomed nearly three thousand international visitors from different countries apart from thousands of local professional visitors. The level of interest to the fair was prevalent where designs that will give direction to the 2023 fashion were taken into exhibits for the first time with podium exhibits and fashion shows. Also, the representatives of companies which marked their attendance at the fair shared their satisfaction about the interest while making their evaluations about the IF Wedding Fashion İzmir.
Emine Yıldırım -Emine Yıldırım Fashion House
We are participating the fair for five years. We are İzmir-based company and achieving mainly export-oriented production. From the early days of our exhibits, we have noted that the visitor numbers and international participation increased. And this year, in this context, we are demonstrating much successful graphics. Overall, a satisfactory fair was behind us. At the same time, the high quality of exhibitor companies, the increase in exhibitor and visitor figures are evidences to show that we are doing a good work in international arena and we are in a good position in competition with international fairs. I believe that the fair make a big contribution to İzmir and to Turkey.

We are participating from Pristina, Kosovo. We used to take part in as a guest previously but this year we are exhibiting with our own stand. The fair was very successful and exciting for us. We produce special event clothing and wedding dress and also we had the chance to reflect our unique style here. We welcomed customers from Italy, US, France and Saudi Arabia and also we have met new customers that placed their orders. We are very pleased, we would like to participate again in next year with a bigger and more spacious stand.
Tayyar Günbeyi -Günbeyi Group
We are participating this fair for eleven years. We are very pleased with the interest we have witnessed and the agreements we have achieved. The fair went very well for us. We also held our fashion shows with our brands at the fair and showcased our designs. The customer interest was mainly Middle East and Europe-centred, and our sales were satisfactory. We are exhibiting every year and we will continue to exhibit in future editions.
Turan Aksoy, Yusuf Çamöz -Seren Fashion
We are participating fourth time this year and we are receiving very positive feedback. This fair also have carried us to the next level in years. Therefore, we as a brand, believe that we added diversity to the fair. Middle Eastern and Arabic countries show an interest to our brand and designs, we are a well-known brand there. This year the fair was very fruitful and our fashion show was widely appreciated. We are very pleased about our participation and the interest has shown.

We are participating for four years. We are very pleased about our presence here, it has been a very successful fair that meets the world standards. If you are about to count five fair in the industry globally, one of them would be for sure IF Wedding Fashion İzmir. We are very satisfied and the customer quality is also very high. Adding, our sales are extremely great as we are receiving many orders from Europe to America, and from the Turkic Republics to the Balkans and achieved preliminary agreements. We will continue to mark our presence in this event as achieved in the past.

We are an industry that carries out their 70 percent of their operations internationally and 30 percent of them domestically in the market. We have 43 years of expertise in special event clothing industry. The fair goes well both for İzmir and for the industry. We believe that we are very successful. Our international guests shared their pleasure about our collections which we can say with a proud. We are in a dialog with all countries of Europe since all of them showing their interest by visiting our fair. This is a good sign for İzmir. Europe and the world has acknowledged this fair and İzmir in this industry. We are proud from this fair as an İzmir-based brand.

We are participating this fair for fourteen years. We have been active in the industry for nearly 20 years. We have cumulated experience dated back to the past. We mainly serve for European regions. We are only producing grooming dress. We are preparing different collections. We are bringing in collections to the fair with great diligence and meticioulus work. This year, we bring in 400 pieces of collection as well. We launced our 2022-2023 collection at this fair. Compared to the year past, our visits and sales are higher. This year has been better than previous years.
Adnan Canpolat -Carmen
This year is our seventh participation. This year was the best fair in seven years. Our sales and visitors were high. The interest of our European customers was noticeable as Italian, Portuguese and German delegations attended. The interest of the local participants was also very high. I am much more optimistic about the future, as the effect of the pandemic is almost under control, and I believe that the following years will be much more productive.
Akın Güreler – Gürel Bijuteri
We are participating since 2013. We had a better and more productive fair this year compared to previous years. We have accomplished good works in terms of domestic and foreign market. We are pleased with this year's fair. We plan to participate in the following years as well.
