Evteks, the 26th Istanbul International Home Textile Fair, which set its dates for September 20-24, 2021, announced another postponement just a few days to the actual fair. In the official statement published by the CNR Holding, the organizer of the event, following decision revealed to media, ‘’We have made a decision to postpone our EVTEKS fair due to the challenging and destructive pandemic conditions leaving its effect around world nations and due to the fact that Turkey has placed amongst the countries with high risk highlighted in red list.’’ Official statement on the postponement appeared in media with the following, ‘’ EVTEKS - 26th Istanbul International Home Textile Fair will be held around May 2022.’’

On the other hand, the major supporter and business cooperate of the event, Evteks Fair, Turkish Home Textile Industrialists' Association Tetsiad made a statement on the postponement and stated in their official statement that they will seek for legal case for the decision as they are suffering from the immediate cancellation and its negative consequences also stated in their decision, ‘’Our important scheduled meeting with the industry partners from now on will take place under the name of HOMETEX HOME TEXTILE AND ACCESSORIES FAIR and in dates between 17-21 May 2022 with the joint organization of TETSIAD and Global Fair Agency Company (KFA Fair Organization) at Istanbul Expo Center and with the intense and strong participation of national and international procurement committees.’’
