A countdown began for the Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition that is the biggest textile organization of Central Asia. This fair will take place on11-13 September, 2013 in Uzexpocenter in Tashkent. Uzbekistan that is one of the important markets of fast- growing Central Asia defines a platform which countries in the region meet with European experts. Uzbekistan is one of the biggest producers of Central Asia in the fields of cotton yarn, fabric and garment. In order to encourage foreign investor to come to country many activities are made in Uzbekistan. The Government of Uzbekistan aims to get investments with incentives such as banking, usage of energy sources, network and raw material procurement. The Uzbek textile industry offers solutions for raw material problems due to its big volume especially in cotton production. Apart from that; the investments which were made since Uzbekistan’s independence shows that this country can be attraction center of the region. It is stated that textile investment which were made by Germany, Switzerland, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, USA and India reached 1.8 billion Dollars.
It is seen that the investments made to this region have increased for last two years. It is stated that 43 industrial businesses that cost 387 million Dollars in this region were established and firm employs 13.000 peoples. It is attracted notice that the Government of Uzbekistan supports the sector. The Programme for Modernisation and Development of the Textile Industry that was approved by the government in 2010 includes various incentives for developments of firms by 2015. The Government that aims to get investment of over 200 million Dollars to this region annually offers different advantages for establishment of 100 new textile enterprises. Besides that; Uzbek authorities encourages domestic investors to invest in a high proportion too said that machines in the fields of clothing, yarn and knitted and woven fabrics will be purchased by 2014.
Uzbekistan attracts attention with its structure that expands its export area annually. Firm provides service with companies which have commercial treaties with countries such as Brazil, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Peru, Chile, Colombia and France and with its 55 offices in the areas such as Turkey, Malaysia, Baltic States and Russia. Apart from that; firm aims to renovate the sewing machines this year due to government’s support. It is announced that investment of 41.935 sewing machines will be made with investments to be made throughout the country in all production points.
Great Attention to CAITME 2013 from Europe
Man-made fibre, spinning machines and accessories, twisting machines, nonwoven, finishing, weaving, knitting, sewing, dyeing, printing and button making machines, laboratory testing equipments will form the most outstanding products of CAITME (Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition). Technologies that include all production progresses of textile industry will take part at this fair. Significant firms from global area will exhibit their products at this fair. Firms from Turkey and Europe that will take part at the fair are listed as follows; Alba Machine, Beneks Machine, Benteks, Bersa Textile, Bonetti, Bracker, Brueckner, Comez, Dalgakıran, Damsan, Dilo, Dilmenler, Graf, Groz Beckert, Güven Çelik, Karl Mayer, Lindaur, Laroche, Malkan Machine, Picanol, Zimmer. 5432 people from 24 countries visited the 2012 edition of CAITME that is significant for Uzbekistan textile industry. This event that 225 producers recognized their products was organized in an area covering 5931 square meters.
