The 5th edition of ITMA ASIA + CITME to be held on 21-25 October 2016 receives great interest from local and international textile machinery manufacturers.

Great Interest Shown to ITMA Asia+CITME 2016

ITMA Asia + CITME 2016 Exhibition to be held in Shanghai, China receives great interest from machinery manufacturers and gets prepared to bring local and international companies together in October. The space applications for the exhibition to be organized in NECC-National Exhibition and Convention Center will end on February, 29, 2016.  CEMATEX, the European Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association, CTMA China Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association and CCPIT-Tex Textile Industry Sub-Council host the event and according to the organization about 1000 manufacturer companies applied for the exhibition.

“30% of the participants are first time exhibitors in the show”

CTMA’s Vice President Gu Ping pointed out that this year the number of Chinese manufacturers’ applications increased for the show and continued as follows: “ The most interesting is that 30% of the participants are first-time exhibitors in the show. This situation proves that ITMA ASIA+CITME is one of the leading industry platforms,” he said. Ping stating that new trends will bear new technologies said for sure that the show will reach spectacular figures in terms of participation after ITMA Asia +CITME’s 2014 Edition. CEMATEX President,  Charles Beauduin: “ As the deadline for space applications comes closer, we see that the applications for available spaces increase. As expected, both local and international enquiries are high.  I think this is because everyone looks for the market opportunities in China,” he said.

The Development of Chinese Textile Industry 

According to China’s 5 years development plan, on behalf of textile machinery manufacturers ITMA Asia+CITME 2016 is a strategic platform to display the latest technologies and products to buyers. According to this planning, the Chinese textile industry will focus on industrial transformation and development. It is aimed that the structural regulations influence all industries. According to CTMA, China performs several investments in order to stay competitive in the textile industry. A total of 15.235 new projects was launched in 2015, with an increase of 200% according to the numbers in 2014.


ITMA Asia+CITME 2014 attracted 100.000 Visitors

The 2014 Edition of ITMA Asia+CITME Exhibition hosted around 1600 exhibitor companies and attracted 100.000 visitors. The exhibition was organized on 150.000 square meters in total. ITMA Asia+CITME 2016 is organized with the partnership of  Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Co, and MP Expositions Pte LTd. JTMA (Japan Textile Machinery Association) is also a special partner of the exhibition.
